From the start the staff have been caring and helpful. Really useful suggestions as to how to proceed and careful listening to our own wishes. Everything proceeded as wished for and we could not have been happier with the service we received, down to the teddy bear for our youngest grandson. Most thoughtful and much appreciated. Established in 2004 and managed by husband and wife team Simon and Anne Beckett-Allen. Rosedale Funeral Home is renowned for producing a fitting tribute for your loved one, ensuring a high quality service and the best bereavement support during this difficult time.
Anne is one of the most highly qualified funeral directors in the country. Anne is a registered member of the British Institute of Funeral Directors, a qualified NAFD tutor and a trustee of the charity Nelson’s Journey.
Both Simon and Anne conduct funerals alongside their full time, fully qualified team. Funeral Arranger & Administrator Faith Ames is supported by a professional back of house team.
Rosedale’s compassionate staff are respectful, kind and sincere and offer an exceptional focus on people. They are caring and compassionate and are fully trained, professionals in their various roles.
Rosedale Funeral Home offers Bereavement Support Groups, which are free to attend and open to all, regardless of what funeral director you have used. Simba the Suffolk bereavement dog, is based at the Halesworth office, which is located within walking distance of several car parks and is away from the hustle and bustle of the main town centre. Their is a private chapel of rest for viewings on the ground floor.

Rosedales to us as a family has truly thought of every step of the process for a family grieving.
From the first phone call when our dear mother passed everything was explained in a very caring way. We were at peace knowing our mother was in a place where dignity and respect was foremost until we could lay her to rest.
We have made a special friendship with Faith Ames who has supported and helped us put together a beautiful service for our mother and made sure everything was perfect on the day. Rosedales will always have our heartfelt thanks.

Top rate service. For us it was sadly the second time within a year that we needed a Funeral Director but I recall Faith patiently guiding us through the proceedings with helpful and sympathetic suggestions the first time round. With some idea of proceedings second time, our wishes were encouragingly put into action. Faith also helped us to produce an Order of Service which surpassed expectations using her design skills and wonderful ideas. We wanted a Keepsake of our dear Father and were delighted with the result.
The service ran professionally and was a unique and personal tribute to our Dad. despite Covid Restrictions we were able to say our farewells without pressure. With the addition of the Webcast we were able to invite those who could not attend or were too frail to join us.
I might add that the two services Rosedales held for my Mum last year were also superb.
A sympathetic, kind, understanding and professional service, we are indebted to Rosedales for all their help.
