The kind and caring service we received from Rosedale, Halesworth was excellent throughout, from taking our dear dad into their care to planning the day which he so deserved. As a family we were mainly looked after by Faith and David, both were just lovely, nothing was too much trouble. They were both sensitive and thoughtful and both showed great compassion, they literally thought of everything with some lovely little touches and made a difficult time a lot easier for us all. Established in 2004 and managed by husband and wife team Simon and Anne Beckett-Allen. Rosedale Funeral Home is renowned for producing a fitting tribute for your loved one, ensuring a high quality service and the best bereavement support during this difficult time.
Anne is one of the most highly qualified funeral directors in the country. Anne is a registered member of the British Institute of Funeral Directors, a qualified NAFD tutor and a trustee of the charity Nelson’s Journey.
Both Simon and Anne conduct funerals alongside their full time, fully qualified team. Funeral Arranger & Administrator Faith Ames is supported by a professional back of house team.
Rosedale’s compassionate staff are respectful, kind and sincere and offer an exceptional focus on people. They are caring and compassionate and are fully trained, professionals in their various roles.
Rosedale Funeral Home offers Bereavement Support Groups, which are free to attend and open to all, regardless of what funeral director you have used. Simba the Suffolk bereavement dog, is based at the Halesworth office, which is located within walking distance of several car parks and is away from the hustle and bustle of the main town centre. Their is a private chapel of rest for viewings on the ground floor.

Faith at Rosedale in Halesworth offered us the most kind, caring and professional service we could have wished for. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Even offering private telephone number if we had any worries or concerns about the funeral over the weekend before.

Faith at Rosedale Halesworth is simply wonderful, she went more than the extra mile. She helped me every step of the way, nothing was too much trouble, she made what was a very difficult and upsetting time bearable. I feel that I have made a friend in her. The funeral was lovely and just what Ron would have wanted, all carried out with great respect, dignity and care. Everyone said so. I tell all my friends this.

I cannot recommend Faith at the Halesworth branch highly enough......she made it possible for me to get through this time by guiding me gently all the way. She is a very special person/employee.
The care and respect that the whole Rosedale team showed, with every aspect of the funeral was exceptional....it felt like each employee had taken a piece of my grief and made the funeral, and arrangements, personal to them.

Very sadly, we had cause to organise two funerals in 3 months this year. We wouldn’t have got through the process without Faith and Simba looking after us and helping us navigate this awful task in such a trying time. We can’t recommend Rosedale highly enough.

Rosedale brought together a wonderful memorial Service for my dear Wife Brenda Anne.

Faith and the team on the day, led by James, provided an excellent service. From her initial visit to the house through to the day itself, I really appreciated Faith’s care, quick response to my emails and willingness to help with whatever I needed. Everything ran smoothly on the day and the quality of the OOS photos was great.
The only reason I haven’t given excellent is the unnecessarily protracted exchange re the OOS proof reading edits, which I gather are outsourced.
Once that issue is sorted, I would happily recommend Rosedale.
