During one of the most difficult times in our lives, Rosedale Funeral Home, especially Faith at their Halesworth branch, provided exceptional care, compassion, and professionalism. From the first phone meeting to the final arrangements, their staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was handled with thoughtfulness and respect. They guided us through the process with grace, offering clear communication and genuine kindness.
The team was incredibly attentive to our needs, customising the service to reflect the unique personality of our Nanna. Their sensitivity and understanding brought us comfort during such a challenging time.

Established in 2004 and managed by husband and wife team Simon and Anne Beckett-Allen. Rosedale Funeral Home is renowned for producing a fitting tribute for your loved one, ensuring a high quality service and the best bereavement support during this difficult time.
Anne is one of the most highly qualified funeral directors in the country. Anne is a registered member of the British Institute of Funeral Directors, a qualified NAFD tutor and a trustee of the charity Nelson’s Journey.
Both Simon and Anne conduct funerals alongside their full time, fully qualified team. Funeral Arranger & Administrator Faith Ames is supported by a professional back of house team.
Rosedale’s compassionate staff are respectful, kind and sincere and offer an exceptional focus on people. They are caring and compassionate and are fully trained, professionals in their various roles.
Rosedale Funeral Home offers Bereavement Support Groups, which are free to attend and open to all, regardless of what funeral director you have used. Simba the Suffolk bereavement dog, is based at the Halesworth office, which is located within walking distance of several car parks and is away from the hustle and bustle of the main town centre. Their is a private chapel of rest for viewings on the ground floor.

I cannot praise Rosedale enough,especially Faith from the Halesworth office ,we didn’t have a conventional funeral as my mother had donated her body to the medical school,at Norwich UEA ,but she arranged for my mum to be in their care till she went to Norwich ,and guided and comforted me throughout ,putting my mind at ease on several occasions,then helped me to arrange a wonderful fitting Celebration of Life for my mum ,with a wonderful Celebrant who Faith recommend,

I felt totally supported and helped by Faith at Rosedale. There was complete attention to detail so that on the day of my mother’s funeral I knew that everything would be as it should be. Keven’s quiet, efficient manner meant that everything went smoothly and was faultless.

Rosedale we’re excellent. Faith, at Halesworth branch went above and beyond to make our experience a good one at a difficult time. The kindness and consideration shown to us was so appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble for Faith and the rest of the team at Rosedale's. They were caring, empathetic and respectful to both us and mum. On the day of the funeral they kept us informed at each stage as to what would happen and made sure we were ready before each stage began. We would have no hesitation in recommending them and indeed we already have.

Because we wanted Charles to be buried in the same church as his mother, we had to use a funeral service in Halesworth which, of course, was not close by as we live in Manchester. I cannot thank Rose Dale enough for the kind service they gave us. It was all done on the phone or by email but he could not have been better. I am ver very grateful for the help, understanding and support I was given.
