I could not thank Susan Whymark enough and her staff especially Mandy who assisted all the way with the organisation of my friends funeral, nothing seemed too much trouble whatsoever, I was kept informed and up to date with everything, they are a complete pleasure to deal with even in the hardest and saddest of times.

Excellent, highly professional service, which also managed to be deeply personal. Sue Whymark and her team could not have been more helpful. Susan Townsend-Parker died fairly suddenly over the Easter weekend, in the evening at home. Sue Whymark's team collected her, very sympathetically and respectfully, very late at night, with the least possible fuss. She was beautifully dressed when we went to see her before the funeral, and looked as if she was simply having a lovely sleep. Every little personal touch we wanted was attended to, and the more than 200 people who attended the funeral were unanimous in their praise.

Susan and team were like friends helping you through a difficult time. Always professional, they were guided by our way of doing things and allowed us the freedom to do just that. It was a wonderful day; Mum would have had just one complaint and that is that she wasn't there to join in!

A prompt and understanding service. Susan and her team were there for us when we needed them and guided us through a difficult time it's the utmost professionalism and sympathy. It might seem a bit odd to recommend a funeral director to someone ..... but I do!

From initial contact with Susan Whymark Funeral Services Ltd right through to the funeral itself we, as a family, were afforded the highest standard of professional services.

That service was framed in an understanding of the difficult emotional circumstances that the family were having to confront. All staff showed sensitivity and preparedness to do all they could to make it as 'comfortable' as possible.

We would strongly recommend them as an independent and family run business.

At an emotional time when a loved one passes away focusing on funeral arrangements is extremely difficult. A funeral for a loved one is so hard to organise but Susan and her lovely team Inc Mandy and Martin made the experience so much easier. Their kind words, thoughtful nature and understanding manner helped me through a very difficult time. I couldn't thank them enough. If you have to use a funeral directors, I wouldn't look any further then Susan and her team.

I can't speak too highly of your company your service was excellent in every way,paying attention to every detail and saving me the hassle of going to your office,by meeting me at home ,any time at my convenience. Then there were flowers to sort out ,yet again, the stress was taken off my shoulders, you kindly came to the church with a catalogue of flower arrangements so we could decide in situe,where the flowers would look best and you helped me select the flowers and instructed the florist on my behalf. The shock of bereavement can make small decisions into enormous hurdles, the pain is impossible to describe, I shall never forget your patience and understanding and will certainly recommend your funeral service to all my friends.
