Rosedale in Bungay were kind and helpful throughout the process of planning my fathers funeral. Janet was patient and helpful with my questions and Christian was kind and respectful on the day, explaining the role of the coffin bearers during and after the service. Rosedale’s attention to detail is absolutely superb and I have no hesitation in recommending them.
Rosedale Funeral Home is an independent family funeral directors, in Bungay Norwich.
Established in 2004 and managed by husband and wife team Simon and Anne Beckett-Allen. Rosedale Funeral Home is renowned for producing a fitting tribute for your loved one, ensuring a high quality service and the best bereavement support during this difficult time.
Anne is one of the most highly qualified funeral directors in the country. Anne is a registered member of the British Institute of Funeral Directors, a qualified NAFD tutor and a trustee of the charity Nelson’s Journey.
Both Simon and Anne conduct funerals alongside their full time, fully qualified team. Funeral Arranger & Administrator Kath Robinson is supported by a professional back of house team.
Rosedale’s compassionate staff are professional and take great care in looking after your loved one. Both Simon and Anne are very proud of their staff and truly value their commitment to the families that they are privileged to serve.
Rosedale have a flexible approach to funeral arrangements and are able to offer a face to face arrangement at the office in their beautifully presented but practical arrangement rooms, in the comfort of your own home or by telephone, Zoom or Skype.
Parking is available for visitors opposite the funeral home and a separate disabled entrance is also available should it be required. Rosedale’s chapel of rest where you can spend time with your loved one is available on the ground floor.
Rosedale Funeral Home offers Bereavement Support Groups, which are free to attend and open to all, regardless of what funeral director you have used. At Rosedale, the team believes that providing the very best of bereavement care goes hand in hand with helping you arrange a funeral for your loved one.

I felt that we got off to a slightly awkward start at the first meeting but in the end Rosedale worked with me well to give my father a good send off. Would happily recommend.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Rosedale Funeral Home in Bungay. From start to finish they were compassionate and helped myself and the family through what was a difficult time. Both Kathryn & Janet were very helpful with questions that cropped up. The Service on the day was just how the family had planned it and we couldn't thank them enough for the care they showed.
