We found the services provided for William Robert Esprey's funeral to have been of the highest quality, with a very caring and understanding approach to meet our needs. We were very impressed with the style and professionalism of all the members of the team. We would like to express our special thanks to Jenna in the office, Alan, as the funeral director, and Colin Robertson, the Celebrant. Having experienced the services that were provided, my husband and I would highly recommend anyone seeking our advice regarding the Co-op funeral plan.

Bryan was treated with love and kindness and my self with great compassion at this most difficult of times. Our wishes were fully met and many people commented on the beauty of the flowers and service, which was such a fitting send off.

A couple of hiccups which did not detract. The printers printed 4 verses of the Naval Hymn when only 2 should have been printed. The printers did not print hymn Abide with me, there should have been 2 verses ……and Jerusalem nobody new the version put onto the system, neither the words nor the tune!! So the vicar and funeral director had to sort the latter out.
The coffin was beautiful with the ensign, sword, crest and flowers and all was done with great dignity. Thank you.

A lovely team who organise everything for you, keep in regular communication and take away the stress and worry of organising a funeral when you are your lowest ebb and can’t quite think straight. They thought of everything and treated myself and my family with respect, empathy and dignity at all times. The service on the day was purely professional and they gave my dad the send off he deserved. Thank you, those memories will stay with me and my family forever.

We were very pleased with the service conducted by Collin everyone we talked to said the service was excellent








The only drawback we encountered was having to wait outside the cars waiting for the drivers to come and take us to the Con's club. It ment we had a gathering of people coming up and conveying there sympathy which we did not want.

Having picked Stafford Funeral Care randomly from a list supplied the service from Sue was very good and the initial care given to our Father was excellent, the order of service was very well done unfortunately when cutting and pasting a poem the title was missed off. On the day of the service although we were asked about a colour scheme for the attendants this was not done. The celebrant was wonderful.

The funeral arrangements were extremely thorough with very good attention to detail. We did deal with two funeral arrangers and both were compassionate and caring. Sue was exceptional and very efficient. The preparation of my late father in the chapel of rest was excellent and gave us comfort as we said our final goodbye. The only criticism is that insufficient time was allowed for us to travel to the crematorium, due to the school traffic at this time, resulting in the funeral procession arriving late, albeit just 5 minutes, to the crematorium, hence my rating of very good rather than excellent. Thank you for your care and compassion at a very difficult time for myself and my family.
