Izzy took care of our Dad and then 6 months later our mum. 
When our world was torn apart Izzy was the glue that held us together and still checks in to see if we are ok. 

Very professional and I could not thank Izzy and her whole team enough for making the worst time of our lives more bearable.

Isobel, was extremely professional for the most difficult day of my life, from the first moment I spoke with her to the final day for my Mothers Funeral. I was truly blessed to find Isobel & very fortunate for her to be by my side through my final journey with my Mother. I highly recommend Isobel  & her services. Nothing has been too much trouble and myself and my family have been comfortable in her presence.  Lovely little touches for example candles and a book for grandchildren.

Andrew was very much loved Son who passed away at an early age. So we were extremely fragile trying to arrange his funeral. When we approached Isabella she immediately put us at ease she explained all options and gave us time to decide which way to go.

My Mum passed away on April 14th 2024 and from the moment Isobel took her into her care, both my Mum and our family were treated with such compassion and professionalism that we were all instantly reassured that the final journey of her life would be as special as she was. Isobel was so supportive through every step of this journey as we had no experience of preparing for a funeral and she was so informative providing us with so many options we had no idea were available. The most important was the availability of The Olde Chapel in Etruria were we held the funeral instead of the usual cremation facilities. The fact that Isobel is a keen supporter of local independent businesses such as celebrants, florists, caterers and places to have the funeral service was key to us having all our requirements met and providing our Mum with a true celebration of her life. The mix of traditional and modern aspects to her funeral made it a wonderful day of celebration. Those who attended the service o ... f celebration were so impressed by the attention to details that Isobel and her team showed from the beginning of the service to the final farewell. No words can express how much we appreciated all that Isobel did for us. Isobel is one of the most wonderful people we have met and we will be forever grateful for everything she did to ensure our Mum's final journey was so memorable which has allowed us all to grieve as a family whilst celebrating her life. The support Isobel offered was fabulous, we never felt any question was to small and any worries we had Isobel sorted or reassured us that it would be fine. We would recommend Isobel Whittaker to anyone knowing that she would go above and beyond to ensure that everyone in her care if treated with such compassion. What a fantastic service from Izzy. At such a sad time, she guided and supported us in every way. Always highly professional, courteous, and gentle at all times. She was simply fantastic, and I couldn't have managed without her. Willing to go that extra mile, Izzy allowed our grandson, Jack who is only 11, to play an active role in his great grannies funeral. I will always be very grateful for that. Izzy was so kind before, during and after our experience. Always a willing listener offering sound timely advice, and so very easy to talk to. I would highly recommend her services.

Isobel is so caring and guided us through the process of everything that needed to happen following the unexpected death of my husband. She has such a gentle approach to such a difficult job and is there for you any time of the day, literally if you have any questions or you need support. Isobel was very supportive and professional throughout the whole process from the planning meeting before Dad passed away through to dealing with his eventual passing a few weeks later. Isobel took ownership of the whole process during this difficult time,from arranging Alison Long the celebrant to ordering the black horses and horse drawn hearse to liaising with the Seven Stars, Brocton for the wake. 
 She offered her phone number for any calls of concern that were bothering us at any time of the day or night.
  The service itself was lovely, the orders of service looking professional and little touches such as remembrance candles and packets of tissues for the immediate family showed how much thought had gone into the process.
 Isobel was a rock during this very emotional time and we would thoroughly recommend her services. Thank you Isobel.

What can I say about this wonderful lady. Isobel,s attention to detail and kindness is beyond compare . Having a conversation with her regarding my late husbands life she clearly understood how much farming had ment to him. Without any prompting she had a gorgeous cow engraved on his plaque for the coffin . All the Pall bearers wore fresian cow pins in keeping with what we were going to wear. She does everything from the heart . Nothing is too much trouble.

The care that we as a family received from Izzy over this really awful period was wonderful. My beautiful Mum's funeral was flawless. During her visit to us I made a passing comment regarding flowers that Mum had had in her wedding bouquet. On the day of the funeral, there they were in Mum's arrangement. This small gesture absolutely blew me away and proved that she listens and takes notice of even the tiniest details, which make a huge difference to those who are grieving.
I cannot recommend Isobel highly enough, her care, compassion and general loveliness goes above and beyond. This is not "just a job" for her.

Isobel was an absolute gem - what a find! From the first time we spoke by phone and her visit to my home I knew that I was in good hands. All the way through the procedure and up to the day of the funeral she was always available to give support and comfort. Her recommendation of Kate Moran as the celebrant was just brilliant and was a perfect fit for the type of service that my late wife would have wanted. All the guests who attended said what a beautiful event it was, especially the photographic tribute set to music. She also arranged a web cast, which enabled family members in Finland, and other guests who couldn't attend, to watch the service live. So if you want a personal, yet truly professional, service don't go anywhere else. The full house of 5 star reviews speaks for itself and I wish this young company every success in the future. Well done Izzy!

Isobel was just phenomenal, this was our Grandfather’s funeral, and when I say ‘our’ I mean that he was Isobel’s Grandfather too. Despite the obvious emotional attachment that she had, she still operated with the highest level of professionalism and the support that she provided to us as a family was immeasurable.

I have never seen the level of detail and care that Isobel provided before. She was simply amazing.

Thank you Isobel for supporting us all through this awful time.
