I wasn’t really looking forward to arranging my mother’s funeral, but Wayne and Jane were so relaxed and friendly it made a possible traumatic situation so much more bearable. We talked about my mother, her wishes and mine, as I’m an atheist, that were actioned into what was a joyous celebration of life rather than a morbid affair. I met with Colin who is a celebrant and he helped make mum’s funeral quite joyful, we had the right mix of music, song and stories about mum.

We really cannot praise The Co-op funeral directors enough following the handling of our mothers recent funeral (Aug 22).
They somehow managed to balance professionalism and respect with care,compassion and all the assistance we needed.
We knew at each stage exactly what to expect, which really helped and every effort was made to include our wishes therefore making the service very personal to us.
Having attended another funeral with different directors a week later the superior quality of the care of the Co-op was really obvious.
Co-op we can't recommend you highly enough, don't ever change, your balance between respect and friendliness is PERFECT.

An absolutely wonderful team of staff that are very supportive with dealing with the loss of a loved one. I had never arranged a funeral before but with their help and advice I was able to arrange a lovely service for my Dad.
