Amazing service from Olivia, Claire, and the team. Approachable and friendly, sympathetic without being overly fussy. They allowed us to bring items in for Mum, sit with her coffin to get used to seeing it before the funeral. The funeral was planned to perfection and they handled Mum with care, love, and the utmost respect. Would highly recommend.

All the details were talked through in advance with Maxine at Ecclesall Road, and we established what the Co-op would do and what the family would do. Similarly with Clive, the celebrant, we agreed on the order of service and the things to be said. Everything was clearly set out and proactively managed - such as the switch from Wesley Media to Obitus midway through. On the day itself, everything went as planned (apart from the weather …!) with the cars collecting us, the flowers looking lovely and the service well managed. The remote webcast also worked well.

From the moment we walked through the door we felt looked after, cared for,&  listened to.  Arranging the funeral was made so much easier by Maxine mix of empathy, humour & understanding.  The team on the day were wonderful.  Maria was exceptional.

The very best service, especially as we had to coordinate between the death being in Sheffield and the funeral in Ipswich. The Sheffield office of Coop Funeral Care handled everything, coordinating with the Coop office in Ipswich.

Empathetic and helped us to deal with a short preparation time. Not being local did not cause any problems in organising the funeral. All went smoothly on the day and the staff showed a high level of respect to the deceased and family.

Ecclesall Road Co-op Funeral Service took good care of us through the whole process and were thorough and caring. Maxine at the office was very friendly and helpful as were the staff who drove the funeral vehicles and helped at the ceremony at Hutcliffe Wood Crematorium.

The local office of the Coop were excellent throughout.
We had the complication of moving my mum from Sheffield to be buried with my dad in Edinburgh. They handled it all with no fuss.
Staff were informative, helpful and not pushy.
The whole event in Edinburgh went without a hitch.

Co-op Funeral Care could not have been better!!!
Maxine helped me through registration of my Uncles passing. through the funeral, flowers, music newspapers and even getting carers for my Mum. All this and much more i am registered blind, the Co-op never let this get in the way.Maxine found an amazing celebrant Clive, provided a high qulity service and tribute for my Uncle.
i was then introduced to Claire our Funeral director. another amazing Lady. collecting my mum from the other side of South Yorkshire, to find Claire in my mums garage digging out a wheel chair as she thought it best.along with taking Uncle on his bus route from Sheffield. A nice touch.
i could list many more things here, just to say the Co-op Funeral Care service went perfect. i am so happy to have had all the people involved including Colin and Paul. when the time comes i will not hesitate and will only use this great team in the future.
