Mark Turner was the Director who organised the cremation of my husband Mike.
Mike was taken into Co-op care from Doncaster Mortuary as soon as released by Coroner's office. He suggested the celebrant Craig who delivered the goodbye to Mike with humour & sentiment. He sourced the special music & flowers & the announcementin the lical newspaper. On the day he supervised the proceedings with professionalism & compassion.
I was contacted when Mike was back in their care.
On the day of collection I was also able to settle the invoice to safe a return visit

Was an absolute pleasure to deal with John at co-op funeral care, made the loss of my father so much easier, was very kind, easy to deal with, he brought good memories back, would highly recommend them.

The Co-op organised all the funeral arrangements with great professionalism and sensitivity. On the day of the funeral everything was timed to perfection and the pall bearers gave our father the dignified send off he deserved.

The funeral was excellent on the day. Catering for our every need. Very professional. The arrangements leading up to the day. Communication was poor, forgetting to inform me of a time change and ŕemoving jewellery that was to be left on, thank god for the confirmation phone call the day before. Was a bit like a DIY funeral at times

Claire was discrete and friendly she guided me through the process of the funeral with compassion. Contact was kept low key to allow us to cope with the loss.
The day of the funeral went well all coop personnel were professional and discreet.
In all the service provided was excellent including the eulogy by Craig.

Fortunately the day went very well, let down with communications leading up to the funeral, replies to telephone queries were promised but not returned. Chapel of rest appointments were let down by no coffin being available, promised Friday did not happen, promised Monday did not happen, very distressing for the family.

Mark from the co-op was lovely and professional who came to visit us at home to make the arrangements for the funeral.
Mark got in touch the day before the funeral.
The photo had not been cut to size as asked in the co-op office though looked nice as this did not really matter.
The vicar which is not part of the co-op though was did the organizing over the phone and text messages, exceedingly rude, with no empathy, arrived 10 minutes before the service with my mums notes that I text to him as requested and he photocopied and then had to be corrected during the service of details about my Auntie, though when I spoke with the co-op and complained, the co-op staff listened and reminded supportive as any other time I have had to use their service.
I would use the co-op funeral service again, not for a long time I hope!
Thank you co-op, Mark and the rest of the team for been as professional as always.
