From the initial contact with Candice, Amanda then helped us organise my pop’s funeral, she is truly amazing in her role, and gave us great comfort at a very painful time. Alan then lead the funeral on the day, he looked after us when our mom passed , and we couldn’t believe it when 12 yrs later he remembered our family. It was an honour and a pleasure to have him with us on the day. Pop’s would have been overjoyed. Heather is incredible and it felt like she had know us all our lives! It takes special special people to deal with these situations and they are all very special! A credit to the company. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts. Sam & Justin x

Mam had already made arrangements and paid for her funeral over a year ago. The whole team at the Co-op Funeral Care Hoyland and Penistone branch were so patient and respectful when it came to us making a few final decisions.
On the day of her funeral the staff were all very kind and helped us to be able to say a lovely goodbye to our Mam just the way she would have liked.

Mum had a prearranged funeral. She requested the things that mattered to her, so when the time came we didn’t have to worry about making decisions and cost etc. The staff were respectful of mums wishes.
Coop Funeral Care at Hoyland and Penistone were excellent. They were professional and approachable from day one.
The day went how mum would have wanted. No fuss.

I can’t speak highly enough of the service we received from the Hoyland branch of Co-op Funeralcare. Their care and understanding was exceptional when helping to arrange the funeral for our dear Dad. Upon first meeting Amanda we immediately felt at ease and reassured she would do her utmost to give Dad the sendoff he deserved. We were given options that had never been suggested when arranging a previous funeral with another company. She took us through all the options and necessary details and she kept us informed throughout the process. Amanda also found us an amazing Celebrante to conduct the service. I was also impressed that we received a phone call from Holly the day before the funeral and she kindly talked me through the proceedings which I found really useful and comforting. On the day of the funeral itself Holly and her team arranged everything to perfection and myself and my family couldn’t have hoped for a more respectful and fitting way to say goodbye to Dad. We will remain eternally greatful  to everyone at Co-op  Funeralcare for their professionalism and care.
