Communication was awful, not given a gentle reminder for order of service. Dealing with 3 people which when arranging funeral plan was charged double the amount.which when sent was not checked there had been a mistake. So deposit was well over what it should have been. Then on day of funeral main funeral director said had to leave for emergency..office had flooded but they had staff in the office who surely could have dealt with this. Very disappointed 😔

I would absolutely recommend Wylie and Lochhead in Uddingston who provided such a good service when handling the funeral of my relative. They managed to be caring and sensitive but very, very efficient. They were available, responded quickly to queries, adapted to changes requested and guided me through the whole process with kindness. Costs will be something that's on the mind of anyone arranging a funeral but can be difficult to discuss however costs were sensitively made clear throughout with alternatives offered to suit different budgets. I would say the total bill was very reasonable for the services they provided. While I understand that there will be a team behind those who dealt with me directly, I'd particularly like to thank Alison and Jim for all their attention to our funeral arrangements.

They were extremely professional from our journey of meeting Jim through to the day of the funeral and beyond.  Jim made the process simple and easy although some difficult decisions had to be made.  From choosing the flowers to the order of service and gave us some nice tips i.e. placing flowers on the coffin which we did not think about.  Jim looked after us and ensured we were completely up to date with all things on-going.  I can only say thanks to Jim and the team for making a special send off for my mum.  Isabell

The service we were provided by Jim and Michelle was second to none. They handled everything for us with such professionalism and empathy,with a few laughs thrown in too. They made an extremely difficult time for us so much easier to deal with. Any questions or requests were dealt with quickly and smoothly.
