Thank you all very much for the excellent and caring service shown to Philip, myself and everyone involved with Philip.  I would like to thank Ross McGregor for the extra personal support that he gave us all.
Ross put my heart and soul at peace knowing that he was looking after my brother, and assured me that everything was done in a respectful, kind and caring way, which it was .  I really couldn’t have asked for better service.  Thank you all again .  With regards Margaret Nelson

In the year 2022, I cannot believe that wheelchair accessible vehicles are not available for the family. Surely we are not the only people who require these? Instead of taking away the stress of the day, we were left to try and find a taxi company who could accommodate my mother on the day of my dad's funeral. The only option we were offered by the Co-Op was to lift my mum into and out of the car (ourselves, the Co-Op would not assist with this) and put her wheelchair in the boot. We would have had to do this six times during the day which I find unacceptable.

For some reason they kept referring to my mum's funeral, when it was my dad's.

Got the DOB wrong on the Order of Service.

Having discussed the Order of Service and that my mum wanted a specific hymn to be played, we asked for a Humanist Celebrant. A few days before the funeral we were called by the Humanist to be informed that as we requested a hymn, then they could not do the service. Surely this should have been explained when we were arranging? This left us scrambling to find a Civil Celebrant in time (and cost extra)

The bill has been paid but we won't be using them again

The staff were very caring and supportive. The process went smoothly at a very sad time. I was very impressed with Aiden who carried out duties which I didn’t expect and he did exceptionally well.

Everything handled well with great support - reason it was not 5 stars were the cars were delayed so service started 25 mins late but service recovered by funeral director with a donation to our chosen charity in memory of my father

Myself and my family were treated with respect and compassion after the death of our mother by all the staff at Hamilton Co-operative. We were kept informed of all progress in dealing with the funeral arrangements. I would not hesitate in recommending them to friends and family. Thank you for treating our mum with the dignity and respect she deserved.

All staff from the first phone call were fantastic and took a genuine interest in ourselves. Staff showed sincere dignity and respect towards our late mum when she was in their care.
