During what was a very difficult time both Declan and Linda looked after us very well. Linda helped us organise mums funeral with kindness and warmth. Declan organised us on the day taking into account all our wishes. He phoned us the day after mums funeral to find out how we were…unexpected and very much appreciated.

From my first meeting with Audrey and subsequent visits to the Funeral Parlour my son, daughter and I were impressed by the professional, caring and friendly service we received.
On the day of my wife's funeral I felt the service we received from Brendan, Kelly,Jim and their colleague was exceptional.
I honestly can't praise and thank everyone involved highly enough.

My family are heartbroken at the loss of my precious mum.  Lynda at Cooperative Funeralcare was comforting and showed empathy towards us at a very upsetting and delicate time.  Andy McWilliams, the Celebrant was absolutely brilliant, our friends and family loved his service.  Everything went to plan and on the day, the staff and drivers couldn’t have done anything better.  It was a perfect send off for a wonderful mum.  Thank you for the care taken and for making a difficult time more bearable.

Everyone I had contact with was very kind and understanding. I was taken through what needed to be in place in order for the funeral to take place and when I asked a question it was always answered clearly. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lynda and the team at the CO-OP.

I was very pleased with the way my dads funeral went. Kelly was lovely ,from phoning on the Sunday to check a few things, to on the day making sure we were all okay. I can't thank her enough. Also phoning the next day to make sure we were all okay.

From our initial meeting with our funeral director at the co-op I was left feeling a bit apprehensive. The funeral director had my dads date of birth and date of death wrong. We where unable to get the date we wanted for our dads funeral despite almost 100% assurance that we could get it, and had to change to a different crematorium. In addition to this, I had to call on numerous occasions for confirmation of details for my dads funeral when I was told I would receive a call back. Finally, the day before the funeral when I heard from the undertaker I was told we had only booked one limousine when in fact it was always two. I contacted the funeral director to be told the car was cancelled as they thought it wasn’t needed anymore- for reasons unknown. Despite this issue being fixed, it cause a lot of unneavary stress that I feel could have been avoided st this already very difficult time.

Co-op Funeralcare in East Kilbride made the whole funeral process smooth and easy. Audrey dealt with myself and my daughter to finalise the funeral arrangements and was lovely. Declan the funeral director was professional and respectful throughout and Jennifer Brown who drove the family car was friendly and helpful throughout. Your staff are a credit to you.
