From start to finish Mark and the team have been fantastic at communicating, asking for our families thoughts and wishes etc. We opted for a direct cremation, which was our late Mum's wishes and even though there was no service as such, Oak Funeral personalised the cremation with a flower of our choice which was placed on our Mum's coffin and a song that she would have liked to be played as the coffin was brought into the crematorium. They took care of our beloved Mum with such respect and dignity and Julie was fantastic and preparing us before seeing our Mum in the Chapel of rest.
The extremely sad and sudden passing of my Mum , was made a little more bearable knowing that she was now in the safe and capable hands of Oak Funeral Service.

Mark, Kat and the team were outstanding.  We always felt that our dad was looked after beautifully, and we were given a lot of support throughout the process.  Thanks also for giving us the opportunity to do our own thing with the videos and orders of service that we created.  Kat’s facilitation and contribution on the day to the service was sensitive, insightful and genuinely emotionally connected to our family.  She helped guide the service expertly and helped add to the meaning of it all. I can only thoroughly recommend Mark, Kat and the team.

I cannot recommend South West Cremations highly enough.  

From the initial call, where Gary explained their Direct Cremation service, sensitively, thoroughly and incredibly professionally, to being looked after by Mark, who helped us every step of the way, and ensured that our Uncles wishes were carried out, and any issues we had were sorted promptly. 

The attention to detail and faultless communication made a very difficult time pass without any stress or pressure.

It was all dealt with very professionally and with the minimum of fuss. Mum was a cremation only but was kept informed all the way through the process. The service we received right from the very first phone call when dad passed away was exemplary. So professional but caring too.
 Orlando was our main port of contact and he kept in touch all the way through the arrangements, advising when necessary and guiding me through the forms when needed as it was my first experience with arranging a funeral. 
I chose a direct cremation as that was what dad wanted. Everything was organised so well and I was told when everything would happen and dad’s ashes were hand delivered back to me the day after his cremation. Nick who delivered him back to me was a lovely guy and very professional too. 
I would not hesitate in using South West Cremations again they took the worry and stress from a difficult occasion and were there every step of the way.
