Thank you to Orlando & his team. Our family have felt so supported, understood & hand held throughout this very sad & complicated time. Our dad was treated with such kind respect & every part of the process was made clear to us. Orlando made us feel as though we were the only family he was working with &, for a few weeks, became part of our lives helping us make decisions & adapting when we changed things. The service that was created was beautiful, bespoke & true to our dad’s character. We all felt it could not have been any better. Thank you Orlando & Kat, our celebrant, for making such a sad time so special for all of us. You are both amazing people.

Robson & Stephens arranged my Mum's funeral in 2020. When my Dad passed away recently we knew immediately that we would ask them to organise his too.
The care and kindness they showed us was second to none. Dad got the perfect funeral, completely tailored to him.

When one deals with the very sudden passing of a parent, you need to have someone to reassure you and provide the support and information to plan what's needed. The team at Oak, especially Orlando were just what we needed as a family. Assured, professional and friendly. Understanding what you are going through, what you need and want to plan was there from the start. We can definitely recommend their service. We have used Oak for both our parents. Nothing seemed to be an obstacle, there was clear information about the process and timely responses to questions. The respect for our Dad was perfect.

I could not have asked more from Orlando.  Super kind and attentive from the outset with the upmost sensitivity. I am lucky in that this is the first time I have had to organise a funeral and it felt daunting but Orlando patiently and kindly guided us through it and took care of us in the process.  We genuinely couldn’t have asked for more. I am so thankful that mum had him looking after her.

My wife’s funeral was the 4th undertaken by Robson Stephens for my family.

The standard of service for the latest one was as high as that for the first one, if not better.

Mark (Robson) and his team are all very professional with nothing be too much bother.

The empathy, compassion and sympathy simply oozes out from all of them, from Pall Bearers through to proprietors, from collecting the deceased person through to submitting the final invoice.

The care and consideration given to and the preparation of the deceased was excellent.

Being the point of contact for the family, Mark is excellent, he is very easy to talk to and get along with. He understands our needs and was also very helpful with the funeral day planning from service sheets, provision of a vicar and the planning and preparation of the media used at and the running of the afternoon celebration of my wife’s life.

The whole day ran very smoothly and we had a lot of complim ... ents for the service given by Robson & Stephens from attendees.

Mark made what I feared would be one of the hardest times of my life to be so much less painful than I had thought possible; his guidance, experience and and reassurance ensured we provided my beloved sister with a peaceful - if rainy! - burial in the Woodland Burial site, which was perfect, followed by a true celebration of her life so that after the tears there really can be the smile of memories.....

The funeral director was kind and compassionate. He discussed all of our options sensitively and was accommodating to all of our requests. He kept constant contact with the family and didn’t proceed without checking we were happy with everything.
On the day of the funeral he was brilliant. He was kind and thoughtful and gently lead us through the proceedings explaining what was happening. We also appreciated his humour, which lightened the mood at just the right times!
Mark has continued to keep in touch with the family which has been appreciated.
We would absolutely recommend the services of Robson and Stephen who gave Dad exactly the send off that we wanted him to have.

My late father's funeral was the second that Mark Robson personally managed and directed, after my mother passed away a couple of years ago. Mark organised absolutely everything for both, making such difficult and upsetting times for my wife and I so much easier. Mark is so kind, sympathetic and considerate, I couldn't recommend anyone better to handle such delicate matters at such a stressful time. Thank you again Mark!
