I was very pleased with the funeral on 24 January in Williton. The willow coffin and flowers were just what I wanted and the cortege with Orlando processing in front, the hearse and bearers all very smart were impressive. As I live in Essex and the funeral was to be in Somerset, Orlando was most helpful in explaining what would happen on the day and Revd Phillips also had to deal with me by text and phone. My family and guests who attended told me it was very satisfactory as indeed it was. Jean Walmsley 5/2/24

Caring and understanding at a very difficult time. Listened to what we wanted and made sure everything was as we had hoped. A lovely simple send off, just as Dad had wanted. Would definitely recommend.

Oak funeral services managed both of my parents funerals as they had requested.Having pre arranged this themselves was their final way of caring for us children.They had put their trust in Oak funerals and they were right to do so.Mark showed a perfect balance of professionalism and kindness and was there at every stage to support. Orlando organised a lovely service. Nothing was to much trouble and he stayed in contact with us the whole time. 
The flowers our uncle loved were not in season but that didn’t stop Orlando with the beautiful gift of a daffodil bulb for everyone to plant. He went above and beyond. 
Orlando made a difficult time a lot easier with his knowledge and compassion. 
I would and will recommend you to anyone.

Orlando was fantastic and went above and beyond, even adding a surprise extra touch of little bags of daffodil bulbs for everyone that attended; it was our loved ones favourite flower but they were out of season and couldn’t be included in the flower arrangements. So so thoughtful. 

Orlando thank you, you made a difficult day run so smoothly, and we’re always on hand to answer questions.

Orlando provided us with an excellent service for our mum. He was compassionate and respectful to my mum throughout and kept us informed at every stage. He also went above and beyond to find an obscure song that we requested for the service, which we really appreciated.

Thank you to all at Oak Funeral Service for helping us give my Mum the send off she deserved. I could not have asked for a better day.

My Mum had cancer so she was able to meet with the team prior to leaving us. From that point on the service provided was excellent, making sure my Mums wishes were met.

The team guided us to make sure every detail was thought about so the day was perfect. I would 100% recommend Oak Funeral Services.

Oak Funeral Services were very helpful from our first meeting and guided us through the whole process of making funeral arrangements for our late Dad. The Funeral Director and his colleagues were very caring and respectful on the day of the church service and guided and supported the close family on this very difficult occasion. The Order of Service booklet that they produced for us was excellently done.

I can not recommend Oakwood enough. I have lost my mother and father a year apart and they have been excellent on both occasions. In my father's instance, my sister was visiting from Australia and was leaving shortly after his death so Orlando from Oakwood worked around the clock to try and organise his cremation in time before she left.
Thank you all for such exceptional service over such difficult times.
