At what can be such a difficult and emotional time, organising a funeral for a loved one, it was a comfort to meet the team at A J Wakely & Sons in Ilminster who throughout, were so supportive in not only carrying out my late Mum's wishes to a t but also providing a blanket of reassurance around me from the first conversation to the service. At a time of vulnerability, it made a huge difference knowing that the planning was carried out impeccably, professionally and with such empathy. Highly recommend them. This is the second time that Wakley have organised a funeral for us, first my sister then my brother in law, they were very kind, caring, nothing was too much trouble and guided us through the process during very sad and emotional times. We found the whole service excellent, both Leah and Kate showed empathy towards us all at a very difficult time.

Kate was incredibly approachable when we visited both for expected visits and when we just walked in unexpectedly, she was exceptional throughout. 

Leah visited at home to arrange the funeral again she was excellent, she listened and gave sound advice throughout, in a very calm manner which helped beyond words so thank you Leah. 

The only downside which really is minimal is during the service we wanted Dads bugle  stood up on his coffin unfortunately it was laid down, but as I said a very minimal complaint!

Would we use wakeley’s again absolutely, they really were extremely professional and caring throughout an extremely difficult and emotional time
