I was fully supported at all times and the funeral was conducted in a dignified manner. The death was unexpected so the help was greatly appreciated and I could not have hoped for more. So glad Stoodleys were there for myself and family.

Mum had a prepaid plan dating from the last century. I was contacted by Stoodleys the morning after she left us. Stoodleys are extraordinary people. From the first time we called them up until the funeral and beyond, Tracey, Colin and Ellie were each so caring and compassionate. They handled every aspect of the process with sensitivity, care, humanity and empathy. They made the process of handling the practical considerations following my father’s death and organising the funeral as personal and stress-free as possible. I cannot speak highly enough of them. They have a true vocation for helping grieving families and they take the time to get to know you as individuals and will take all of the stress and pressure away from organising the perfect tribute to your loved one. Particular mention must go to Colin who came in on his week off to lead my father’s funeral having got to know us, and Tracey and Ellie are both wonderful too.

Everyone at Stoodleys was extremely professional, caring and helpful in looking after us, including coming out to us on a bank holiday. Tracey, who handled the funeral arrangements in a very personal way, was well organised, extremely helpful in gently guiding us through all the detail, both before and during the service (which she attended) to ensure everything went smoothly, and even checked with us the next day how we were.
We had full confidence that everything would be handled with care and dignity which was very comforting at such a difficult time.

This is the second time, Tracy and everyone at Stoodley and Son have provided funeral services for our family; the first being when our mum passed away in 2016 and this time, arranging the funeral of our dear Dad.
Every aspect of the funeral was dealt with sensitivity, empathy and the utmost professionalism at what was an extremely difficult and sat time for us all
Tracy is organised, helpful and very compassionate...she cares about her clients and it really shows!

Unfortunately I lost my mum to cancer on the 22/6/19. I first contact stoodley at the end of 2018 as mum had a few months to live and had to face the truth that mum would be leaving us. Mum fought for longer than we all thought but now she is in heaven. Tracy and Colin have been so supportive from day one, kind, caring and I will always be grateful for the support they gave me. The funeral was so meaningful, in a lovely chapel, Tracy done the service her self for us and even though it was the worst day of my life it also was such a beautiful bearial all thanks to Tracy and Colin. I would recommend stoodlys to anyone looking for a funeral directors as the service they provide is exeptional. When my time comes to fly away I hope it will be stoodly to send me on my way. Thank you so much Tracy and Colin. To anyone who reads this and has lost someone God bless.xxx

My brother’s funeral was not straight forward to arrange as he needed to be moved from some distance away to where the funeral eventually took place. This required two funeral directors being involved and further difficulties in arranging the registration of the death. All this while for a lot of the time I was away from home. Stoodleys oversaw all of the above and had a can do attitude where everything moved ahead smoothly and all problems that arose were dealt with professionally and totally successfully.
Throughout they were very supportive and responsive to requests from family members. I could not praise them enough for their sheer professionalism and giving both practical and emotional support for which I am extremely grateful. The funeral itself passed off without a hitch and everyone who attended remarked how personal it all felt. 
They also dealt with my mother’s funeral which was much more straight forward but again it was a lovely service and respected her memory.
I have absolutely no reservations whatsoever in recommending these funeral directors.

We were recommended to Stoodleys by a neighbour and we were not disappointed. From our first initial enquiry we were treated with compassion and the helpful nature of both Tracy and Colin.
This led to a wonderful service for my Mum and turned the whole day Into an uplifting experience rather than a sad and mournful one.
They were available throughout the planning process to give advice where ever it was needed and guided us throughout the whole process.

You were amazing and went far beyond your ‘call of duty’ Obviously it was slightly more difficult as we are in Sussex but you made me feel confident from our first conversation that Mum would remain in good hands with you after leaving the care of Judith from Dandelions Farewells. I cannot sing your praises enough and, although I hope not to use your service for a few more years, we will definitely meet again.
