The actual service provided on the day was excellent. However it was only when I was contacted by Hollie on the day prior to the service that I was advised that only four pall bearers would be in attendance and a risk assessment would be done on the day of the funeral to see whether he would be carried or taken in on wheels. I am afraid I did not consider this suitable and I feel I should have been advised or this when I made the funeral booking. Fortunately I have a large family and we were lucky that some were able to carry the coffin. I have written a letter of complaint regarding this as the lack of communication caused my family great distress during an already stressful time

From the first phone call and until the end of the funeral everyone involved with our Step Mothers Aunts funeral were amazingly helpful and very supportive.
The staff guided us through the whole process with great empathy and care. It made a big difference to us as a family to have such professional and caring people looking after our family.
The day ran so smoothly and fell in to place, there was nothing to worry about. It was handled expertly, we felt in safe hands. Everyone was incredibly professional.
The live feed was fantastic allowing family to be present whilst living in Europe and distant locations in the UK the flowers supplied were superb.

The staff were caring, understanding & compassionate and they went out of their way to help us. They were always there to help with a friendly face, or answer our questions if we telephoned. The funeral went perfectly and we can not thank the staff enough for their compassion and kindness to help us as a family during such a difficult time. I feel that my daughter was given outstanding care by the team.

This review would have been excellent if it wasn't for the fact that my Father wasn't embalmed, when this service was requested. Hollie James was excellent throughout the process, but she was badly let down by her Manager, Francis, who didn't contact me when requested to do so on several occasions. I have spoken to Joanne Wood, the Regional Operations Manager, about this and she has been very helpful in bring this matter to a happy conclusion.

I was also very pleased that my Father's coffin was carried into the Chapel, and not wheeled, as I had been told.

I would recommend Coop Funeralcare purely because of Hollie's kindness, efficiency and professionalism.

We were very pleased with the  Co-op Funeralcare. We asked if we could have the service at a country church which was not easy, but that didn’t seem to be a problem . It made the day very special to us. Everybody were very helpful and caring. Holly, who led the cortège, was very professional.

I was so pleased with the help I got from Charlotte and Hollie. Arranging a funeral in Bath from Leeds was not easy so it was nice to have my mistakes patiently dealt with by them. The funeral itself went very smoothly.
