The arrangements were dealt with with care and empathy, queries were dealt with attentively and everything was explained carefully and sympathetically. The celebrant we were referred to by the team in Shrewsbury was truly excellent and ensured my mother had a warm and appropriate service at the crematorium. We had one glitch, which was dealt with appropriately and quickly. I would have no hesitation in recommending the team at Coop Shrewsbury.

The Co-op Funeral Team in Shrewsbury showed respect and concern for our wellbeing during the lead-up to the funeral service and on the day and that was appreciated. The selection of the Celebrant for the service was well organised and well communicated.
The service from the local London branch of Co-op Funeral Services left much to be desired however.

The whole team at Shrewsbury were very professional and helpful from start to finish. They were very accommodating, welcoming and patient, assisting my sister's and I with the sad loss of our Mum. The funeral was conducted to a high standard, led by Josh the professionalism and respectful manner in which it was executed was brilliant with many family and friends commending their efforts.

Right from the very first phone call the whole experience was good. Joshua who dealt with us from the first meeting had just the right balance of sympathy, empathy and in our case humour. Everything was talked through and explained and I was able to call him about the slightest thing. Having paid for a funeral plan in advance was a massive help - you don't then have to talk costs, and that makes things so much easier to deal with. They went along with our quirky ideas for the ceremony, and I met those who were looking after my husband and trusted them to take care of him. On the day there was a balance of good oldfashioned etiquette and our individual requirements. Trusting someone in a tiem of bereavement is so important and I felt that they really cared and were there for me and the family.
