Teresa the funeral director at Monkmoor Road was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The team at Monkmoor could not have done things any better. They made sure Patricia was looking her best each day and treated me as if I was a member of the family. I cannot speak highly enough of Teresa, even on the day of the funeral. Everything I asked for was granted without hesitation. It has been the saddest of times but she has managed to make it a fraction more bearable.

We chose the COOP because Mum was a lifelong member. They gave a discount due to this which was great. The preparations went well, a bit of confusion as to who was responsible for what, but I felt for the team who were short staffed, which is why this happened. I don't think it's good that one member of staff was on her own to run the funeral parlour. I think this should be changed. There should always be 2 staff there to support each other. Everything went smoothly on the day and I appreciated the funeral director ringing me to check everything the day before. This was on her day off, why isn't more staffing in place to cover this? Overall, it was a great level of service, as staff went above and beyond to make it work well, with compassion. More staffing would enable the team to gain an excellent level of service

We were met by Jessica on our initial visit.
Everything was explained regarding the funeral. We were all very made very at ease in very difficult circumstance . Jessica and Ellie kept in contact throughout the days leading up to the funeral date. Everything leading up to the day , during the day and since has been exceptional from both the ladys.

Kelly leading the funeral on the day was very professional. She got extremely wet when walking in and out of the home close.
The service went perfect.
The driver that of the limousine couldn't do enough to help.
All in all the co-op in monkmoor did their job to a very high standard.
We thank you all very much.

Reactive, rather than proactive.
Also, It was agreed that the cars would travel along the High Street route and we a announced this on social media - but the procession took a completely different route on the day.
We gave details of the music/hymns early in the process and checked that this was OK. When the celebrant arrived at the crem, she was told the one hymn text didn't match the music and there was no music for the second hymn. We had to speak it!
We assumed that attendance cards would be provided, as they were not mentioned (I have never attended a funeral that didn't have them) but there were none and we have no record of who attended

A very sympathetic but thorough service from all at Co-op. 
Rachel was very patient and helpful throughout the process guiding me and giving me the information I needed.
I am very grateful to all the team for allowing us to do things  ‘our way’ when saying goodbye to Jason.

Would highly recommend, Jessica was very professional and extremely compassionate at this very difficult time.  She was very patient and took her time  to talk  us through all procedures/options available  and nothing was too much trouble. The funeral was treated with respect and dignity, many thanks to all at .
