This is the 4th family funeral Alison has arranged for us ,Alison was excellent as always so caring, understanding her professionalism really is second to none . The Co op team managed by Simon conducted the day with dignity , care and complete professionalism . Again helped us to get through another difficult day knowing it was all organised, so well, just as mam would have wanted . Thank you

Simon came to my house to arrange the details for my Dad's funeral, he was dressed in a smart respectful fashion that matched his professional courtesy, whilst being casual enough to put me at ease. He went through all the details of Dad's funeral plan, filling in the gaps with me about what I might wish for on the day, by the time he was finished I felt confident that whatever happened he was going to be in complete control of any situation that may arise, he went out of his way for me and I was left with the feeling that he was a friend who was on and by my side.....On the day of the funeral, everything was completed in a more formal fashion, as was appropriate for the situation, and although I was aware that crematoriums have a timetable to keep to, importantly, at no time did I feel proceedings were rushed, but I did feel there was a gentle guiding hand ready to show me what to do in a situation that was alien to me, I owe Simon a huge thank you for performing his duties above and beyond. I also need to thank the whole team who on the day performed their duties like a well-oiled machine, and finally, sorry I did not get the driver's name of our car, but he let me sit next to him and chatted to me all the way to the cemetery, obviously realising that I was nervous, he was also a major player at putting me at ease. And the courtesy call a couple of days later just to make sure that I was happy with the way things went was a nice touch. Overall I could not be happier and will make sure that I tell anyone who is interested what a great team you have at Aberdare co-op funeral directors.....Thank you...

At quite a difficult time for the family all the staff at Co-op Funeralcare, Aberdare were absolutely wonderful. In particular, Alison and Simon were so understanding, helpful and efficient in everything they did that it made the preparations and the day of the funeral itself so much easier to deal with. The service I received was marvelous , thay took charge asked me what I wanted and delivered - everything from the order of service to enabling me to sit with my wife as well as webcasting , ordering the urn and recording the service .Nothing was too much trouble for Alison, who explained everything or Andrew . Andrew on the day of the funeral was empathetic and explained what was going to happen. Both of them were extremely empathetic throughout. I have nothing but praise for them and the coop

I was thoroughly impressed by the care to detail and professionalism of co-op funeral care. Pre-service and actual service was lead with such dignity and respect. I felt I could contact the office at anytime and every question I had was answered and my anxieties were put to rest.

Our experience with co op funeral care Aberdare was excellent, Alison was so helpful. My Dad has Parkinson’s and gets confused but Alison was very patient and kept repeating until he understood. Nothing was too much trouble for them, On the day of the funeral my Dad struggled standing by the graveside, the gentleman driving was very kind and helped him into the car to sit down. They carried out such dignity throughout and made things so much easier for us as a family. Thank you.
