Chess was amazing from the beginning. Such kindness and compassion at the worst time for our family. Co-op were very clear in their prices and options available for my Dad's funeral. They took their time and listened to how we are as a family and helped us organise the final plans for my Dad. Would happily recommend them to anyone who has sadly lost someone and needs to sort funeral arrangements.

I’ve been unfortunate to have to use the coop in bulwell three times in the last 15 months both my parent’s and my son.
 my mum and son was dealt with my Chas what an amazing compassionate employee she is goes above and beyond to help and make the process as easy and comfortable as possible I couldn’t of asked for more .
Also the drivers and all the staff made the journey as smooth as possible.
Thank you to the whole team you all made a very difficult time that little bit more beautiful.

my sister and i was so grateful for the help that chess gave to us she kept us informed from the moment we told her that our mother had passed.
from the week she passed up to the day of the funeral the staff and the reverend was so helpful and the service was amazing i can not thank them enough.

Considering me , my husband and sister had never had to organize a funeral , we were made to feel at ease with Chess . Every aspect of my mum's funeral was explained and all our wishes for the funeral were met , even though we made changes . Nothing was a problem for Chess and other members of staff .
Richard Lake was brilliant at organizing the service . Especially making better an idea we had for a Coronation street theme music at the end . Richard put together a colarge of three soap themes blending together which was alot better .
On the day the drivers were brilliant , doing a first class service for my family .
Overall , from the first minute we walked through your door till the moment we were dropped of at the wake . Everything was very respectful, friendly and smoothly done . Well worthy of my 5 star rating . Me ( Liz ) , my sister ( Jeanette ) and my husband ( Paul ) would like to wholeheartedly thank everyone involved in putting together my mother would have been proud of .
