Gillotts offered a very compassionate and personal service throughout the whole process. Hannah Chapman is a tremendous asset to the Business, very professional and efficient but also able to show kindness and empathy at such a difficult time. We wanted a personal service to celebrate the life of our loved one and it was exactly that.

We have no hesitation in recommending Gillotts in the future.

From the moment I went into the office in Stapleford to the funeral itself I never felt alone or uncomfortable. The staff kept me well informed and were extremely helpful throughout the process. All of the staff I interacted with treated me with kindness and compassion. Excellent service.

It was a pleasure dealing with Gillotts. At a very distressing time they were helpful, curtious and professional in everything they did. We were perhaps not the usual clientele they have had to deal with but they treated us with dignity and sympathy in equal quantity. The two ladies we dealt with, Danni and Hannah, we so helpful and whilst we had some amusing conversations things ever breached the standards of professionalism that were expected. We would highly recommend the company to anyone in the future.

Hannah and the team at Gillotts were exceptional in offering help and support at an extremely difficult time. Nothing was too much trouble, they were there when we needed them, and they made the whole process transparent and accessible. Always at the end of the phone if you needed any advice or help, they couldn't have done more for us. We cannot speak highly enough of Gillotts Funeral Directors in Stapleford who we contacted when my Dad passed away. Right from the first phone call staff were helpful and informative. Hannah at Stapleford in particular was so kind and caring and guided us through the whole process beautifully. Nothing was too much trouble and Hannah was literally there for us every step of the way making sure everything was just as we wanted it to be. She organised for Dad to be transferred from the hospital into their care at the Chapel of Rest, booked the Crematorium, put us in contact with a celebrant to conduct the funeral service and even created a beautiful visual tribute by setting some photos of Dad to a piece of his favourite music. We went to see Dad in the Chapel of Rest several times and never felt rushed. This gave us time to say our final goodbyes and helped us come to terms with his passing. On the day of Dads funeral Danni from Stapleford was there making sure that everything went to plan and I have to say we really felt it was perfect. We were in such good hands with Hannah and Danni and cannot thank them enough for everything they did for our family at such a sad and difficult time.

The personal service we received while organising my mothers funeral through to completion was excellent. Hannah’s help with the Order of Service & Reflections was brilliant. We were guided through the whole process. Danni was also there to answer any questions we might have & also kept in touch to make sure we were happy with the arrangements.

We cannot fault the excellent service we have received from Gillotts Funeral Directors - especially from Hannah in the Stapleford office. She, Danni and Chris the Celebrant were empathetic and professional at all times, translating our thoughts and ideas into a funeral our mum would have loved. Everyone remarked that the service was 'Audrey to a tee'. Many said they enjoyed it and more importantly that mum would have loved it. All this was down to the help and advice we were given. The costs have been well within our budget, with no hidden extras. It felt as if friends were helping us rather than simply Funeral Directors. The after care service has been great, and cannot be faulted.
We'd definitely highly recommend using Gillotts.

Can't speak highly enough of both Alan and Hannah at Gillots Stapleford. They were caring, kind and friendly whilst maintaining professionalism at all times. Mum's funeral went exactly as planned and having them both on hand was a great help.

In such sad times the team at Gillotts were great, mum had already had her funeral plans in place so the few fine details that were needed to give mum a lovely goodbye were done so good. From the first time we visited Gillotts with mum to put her funeral in place to even after visiting for advice on mum's head stone they were so helpful. Lovely team.
