I was treated with great respect at a difficult time losing my mum 22nd December was a difficult time of year. All arrangements ran smoothly and even to stopping outside mums house which was a short distance away. My mum looked like an angel when we visited her a lovely picture after the image when we left her at death Joanne was the one who dealt with us and she was always available to reassure us. The other staff where very respectful too. If I needed an undertaker in the future you would be chosen.

Absolutely amazing from the offset. It was an unbearable time losing David so suddenly at only 54. Gillots went above and beyond to help and ensured David got the send off he deserved.

Guiding me through the service and helping put together the order of service, and also the suggestion of the most appropriate person to take the funeral service.
All of this help to produce the most wonderful tribute to my wife, mother ,sister and friend to many, we could not have wished for more.

However, I do believe that the initial meeting with Paul he could have made the poem available & got the costings and details right. The girls seem to have sorted it.

Gillotts have been amazing throughout the whole ordeal of having to sort the funeral for my dad. They have been really accommodating and will happily make changes to the service whenever requested. They guided us through the whole process and helped make the horrible process that little bit more easy. So glad I went with them for arranging the service for my dad,it went perfectly on the day.

I cannot thank Gillotts enough for all their help  in organising my mum’s funeral. I live in Norfolk & thought that it would be so difficult to organise  but even from 100 miles away, Joanne & Claire helped me at every stage & to find Joanne there to lead us through everything on the day was so reassuring. Reverend Billy Nelson lead a lovely service and the flowers we ordered were beautiful.

Again, ‘thank you’  is just not enough.

From start to finish everyone at Gillott’s, Eastwood has been simply wonderful. They are kind, respectful and dignified without being at all starchy or aloof. We felt that they genuinely cared about our family and our loss. My Grandad was clearly treated with the utmost care and respect which we could see when we visited him in the Chapel of Rest. Paul took us through all the arrangements in a gentle and respectful way whilst also keeping the discussions light and humorous where needed. He matched us with the perfect celebrant, Shirley Gray, who delivered the service beautifully. I spoke to Claire and Alison at various stages throughout the process and they were equally easy to talk to, helpful, caring and reassuring. Anthony looked after us on the day of the funeral and his caring, respectful demeanour made an incredibly difficult day just that little bit more bearable. The drivers were second to none, making our final journey with Grandad through the greenery of Cossall feel so speci ... al. We honestly cannot fault any part of the process at all and are so grateful to the whole Gillott’s team for helping us to give my Grandad the send off he truly deserved. more
