From the time the gentlemen came to collect Rex ,from the initial interview and the arrangement chat with Jane we were treated with respect ,care and consideration.All went according to plan on the day. We were collected on time and in spite of the number of people attending at the crematorium we managed to reach the. church in time for the Thanksgiving Service, which was memorable and very special, attended by over two hundred people- a tribute to Rex.Thank you for your help on what might have been a difficult day. C.H.
The Wollaton branch originally belonged to the Ilkeston Co-op Funeral Service before being incorporated into the A W Lymn group in 2003. The funeral home was formerly based on Arleston Drive in Wollaton, but was moved in late July 2014 to a purposed designed site on Wollaton Road called Deer Park House.
The new premises has off-street car parking and a beautiful visitation room with its own private waiting area.
The office was formerly a police station and features a large, bright, modern client reception, as well as state-of-the-art rooms.
The office is run by Funeral Director Kirby Cranshaw with the help of Funeral Arranger Sky O’Neill.
The funeral home is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm. You can also make an appointment to see someone after hours via the telephone number.
The branch covers all of Wollaton and its surroundings including Bilborough, Bramcote, Nuthall, Strelley, Trowell, Watnall and beyond.
A.W.Lymn The Family Funeral Service is managed and owned by the Lymn Rose family. Nigel, Jackie and Matthew Lymn Rose are the directors of the company.

Unfortunately Joes funeral was our 3rd in as many years, all through the Wollaton branch where the staff were very helpful and efficient in organising and meeting our family needs.
We were always treated with respect and dignity throughout and would recommend their services to colleagues and friends.

The only thing was the vickor he made 3 mistakes at the service one i tried to put him right but he just looked straight at me! Disappointing!!
Said dad had heart bypass at 37 he was 57
Said he'd been in hospital 3 weeks it was 5
Said he'd been in the sanatorium 2yrs it was 1 little mistakes I know but shouldn't happen!
Can't fault lynms at all definitely recommend!!

We have only the very highest praise for Jane Keetley at Lymns of Wollaton and the rest of the team of bearers and drivers on the day. In particular, Jane's professional and sympathetic approach with the arrangements made the whole process that much easier for us as a family to deal with.We just couldn't have asked for a better service......we now know why Lymns have the best reputation...because they deserve it!

Jane was fantastic, she put us at ease straight away and made us feel comfortable. This was the first time we had lost anyone close to us and Jane took us through the process step by step, she was professional and extremely friendly. We couldn't have wished for anyone better. We also dealt with another member of staff who was extremely helpful.
We would definitely recommend Lymn's funeral directors and all of their staff.
