Despite heavy rain and a muddy field, the staff were able to conduct the burial very well. All the staff were polite and helpful throughout, coping with my moments of confusion.

Established in 1992 and located at Rutland House, A.W. Lymn's West Bridgford office is run by funeral director Andrew Brown, with the assistance of funeral arranger Samantha Alla-Mensah. Edward Martin is the Senior funeral director for the south area and is also based at A.W. Lymn's West Bridgford Office
The branch includes two visiting rooms and a family rooms There is parking space to the back and front of the building.
The office is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, from 9 am to 12.30 pm. You can also get assistance at any time of the day by calling the telephone number and we will arrange an appointment at your convenience.
The branch covers all of West Bridgford and its surrounding area including Bradmore, Bunny, Compton Acres, Edwalton, Gamston, Holme Pierrepont, Keyworth, Tollerton, Widmerpool, Wilford, Willoughby on the Wolds, Wymeswold, Wysall and beyond.
Former president of the National Association of Funeral Directors, Nigel Lymn Rose, is a director at A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service, along with his sister Jackie and his son Matthew.

The service we received from Lymns was very good. They are caring and very respectful and everything went well. The only hiccups we had was two of the pallbearers were stuck in traffic ( couldn’t be helped) but my husband and nephew stood in and actually that was fine and very moving to see them carry my brother in. The other error was his middle name was spelt incorrectly on the plaque attached to the coffin, which was a surprise as I watched Savanna write it down correctly at our initial meeting - but apart from that they were really good and I would recommend them to anyone .

Andrew and the team provided a caring, sympathetic, calm and efficient service for our mothers funeral. It was planned and organised meticulously. As a result it all went smoothly and we felt that we had done the best we could for our mother.

From the outset, A.W.Lymn, and in particular their representative, Santanna Nightingale, were very professional. All aspects of the funeral service were discussed with clear explanations of the choices available. Once the decisions were made, everything was double checked. Santanna was very repectful, courteous and wanted to make sure we were happy with the final selections. She rang promptly if she had any questions and we felt the arrangements had been left in very safe hands.
The service, on the day, was beautiful and exactly what the family wanted and thanks to Lymn's excellent organisation, ran very smoothly. We were extremely happy that A.W.Lymn had helped us give Steve the funeral service he truly deserved. Thank you.
