Established in 1992 and located at Rutland House, A.W. Lymn's West Bridgford office is run by funeral director Andrew Brown, with the assistance of funeral arranger Samantha Alla-Mensah. Edward Martin is the Senior funeral director for the south area and is also based at A.W. Lymn's West Bridgford Office
The branch includes two visiting rooms and a family rooms There is parking space to the back and front of the building.
The office is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, from 9 am to 12.30 pm. You can also get assistance at any time of the day by calling the telephone number and we will arrange an appointment at your convenience.
The branch covers all of West Bridgford and its surrounding area including Bradmore, Bunny, Compton Acres, Edwalton, Gamston, Holme Pierrepont, Keyworth, Tollerton, Widmerpool, Wilford, Willoughby on the Wolds, Wymeswold, Wysall and beyond.
Former president of the National Association of Funeral Directors, Nigel Lymn Rose, is a director at A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service, along with his sister Jackie and his son Matthew.

I was very pleased with the way everything was handled from my initial first visit
to tell them of my husband's passing to the day of the funeral .
Everything was handled quietly and with dignity which helped me on a very

From our first meeting with Samantha to the day of my wife’s funeral Lymns could not have been more helpful and accommodating.
Everything was clearly explained to us and any questions we had in the lead up to the funeral were answered promptly and with great sympathy.
The timing of the transfer to Wilford Hill cemetary was superb and the transport for the family was immaculate.
I will have no hesitation in recommending A.W.Lymn, West Bridgford to anyone looking for a first class undertaker.

The most telling sentiment expressed, that simply had to be shared with you was....."and that is how it should be done". So I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving my mother the most dignified and gracious send-off that she whole heartedly deserved

From the first meeting through to the final service, Lymms were very professional and supportive. Andrew visited myself and mum at home and went through every detail and answered all our questions with compassion and sensitivity. We knew exactly how much everything was going to cost so there were no surprises.
On the day, the cars were immaculate, the staff very smart and discreet, and everything ran like clockwork.
I throughly recommend using this company, to make a very difficult time less stressful and take the pressure of you by giving reliable, honest service.
