Fred Beeson established a funeral service in Radcliffe on Trent in 1937 and moved to a purpose built funeral home in 1961. The business was incorporated into the A W Lymn group in 1994 and still remains at the same location. The premises underwent a major refurbishment in 2020.
The funeral home is run by Funeral Arranger Emma Hutton, who will be able to assist you Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, from 9 am to 12.30 pm. If you need assistance outside of office hours then please call the telephone number at any time.
The funeral home covers Radcliffe and all its surrounding areas, including Barnstone, Bingham, Caythorpe, Colston Bassett, Cotgrave, Cropwell Bishop, Cropwell Butler, East Bridgford, Granby, Gunthorpe, Harby, Hickling, Kinoulton, Langar, Long Clawson, Lowdham, Owthorpe, Plungar, Shelford, Tythby, Upper Saxondale and further afield.
The Rose family has a connection with Radcliffe dating over 100 years. A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service is currently run by Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose.

Jane Keetley and Emma at the R on T branch took care of every detail of the funeral of John Horton . Nothing was too much trouble . They were also very kind and calming .On the day everything went so well . Jackie supervised all and was brilliant . Thankyou all so much .

All contacts, whether by phone, email or in person were prompt, efficient and sensitively handled. Special mention to Emma for her caring and very helpful manner. Thanks too to Mark who looked after us so well on the day of the funeral, gently explaining and guiding things along without ever making us feel hurried.
The Lymn's Services Brochure which explained what to do and the options available was very helpful too, being clear, concise and well-illustrated.

Jane and the team guide you through every stage of the funeral and advise regarding registering the death and whom to inform.

My Husbands funeral was conducted by the Radcliffe on Trent brunch on 1/3/2021 & I can’t praise them enough!
The Chaps who collected him from home the day he died were lovely, very professional & reassuring. The Funeral itself went incredibly smoothly. All Lymn’s staff were 100% Professional.
Insincerely hope we don’t need your services for years to come, but wouldn’t look anywhere else if we did. A BIG Thank you to everyone, for making a very Sad day, stress free! Thank you.

I felt like Jane looked after the whole thing from start to finish, nothing felt like too much trouble and every detail was checked and then checked again to make sure that the day went exactly as planned. They were very careful to listen and remember from one conversation to the next.
They were helpful to explain and give suggestions.
The Covid made things much harder... but I felt reassured all the time.
Having travelled for hours to get there, meeting Jane who greeted me so gently made me feel relaxed and ready to start the formal part of the day.

We have now used Lymns Funeral Directors (the Radcliffe-on-Trent branch) for both my mum and my dad's funerals.
Their service is absolutely excellent, they are so kind and helpful and organise everything expertly. I would like to mention Jane Keetley, who assisted us and who was friendly yet so professional, and enabled everything to go so smoothly, both before and on the day.
We have no hesitation in recommending Lymns, whom you can totally depend on at what is such a sad and stressful time.

Lindsay and the team at A.W. Lymn in Radcliffe were amazing. I have never had to organise a funeral before and did not know where to start, I can not recommend Lymn's highly enough. At a time when it's really difficult to think and make decisions Lindsay and the team guided us through, making everything straightforward and not at all overwhelming. They kept in touch regularly in the run up to the funeral, making sure we were ok, making sure we were happy with our choices and taking care of everything. Thank you for your professionalism, warmth and kindness.

Everything was dealt with efficiently but sensitively, and our contact at the office in Radcliffe (Lyndsey) was very kind, approachable and supportive. She explained everything that we needed to know and was very patient. On the day, the funeral director and staff were unobtrusive but professional and everything went as well as could be hoped for in the sad circumstances.
