Yet again Lymns have been extremely profession, sensitive and approachable whilst dealing with our family loss. I dealt with Paul in January when I lost my mum, unfortunately we lost a very dear family member in October in which I request for Paul to deal with our affairs in terms of the funeral. Both funerals we're very different but equally as beautiful thanks to Paul remembering our family, understanding the different requests and support for us to fulfill the deceased wishes.
Also other staff members at Lymns have been equally kind, caring, professional and compassionate when I have spoken with them. My family member who recently passed was extremely poorly and had a *** tumour on the face. When I went to visit him he looked very clean tidy and smart, I felt he was going out very dignified. Thankyou again to Paul and all the team, keep doing what you are doing so well .
you are all like a little family and I have always felt looked after by you all.

Excellent you can always rely on a very personal, empathetic and caring service. Paul was very compassionate and made us feel at ease, as if we were the only family going through this. I know everything will go smoothly when using Lymns services, they go that extra mile and nothing is ever too much trouble. Sadly we have had to use Lymns a few times over the last few years, they are always exceptional and I would not use anyone else.
Although A W Lymn's head office moved to Robin Hood House on Robin Hood Street in 1977, many people in the area still refer to this office as "Lymn's on Bath Street".
The head office, built by fourth generation George Rose in the late 1970's, has several in-house funeral directors to help families with their funeral needs, and also houses most of the company's administration staff.
The funeral home is staffed by funeral directors Kevin Browne and Philip Wilson, funeral arranger Megans Rosier and Luke Mellor, and receptionist Lucinda Pallett.
The opening times are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm. Staff are also available to meet with you after office hours. Please call the telephone number at any time to arrange a convenient appointment.
Besides the administration and reception area, the premises have a coffin showroom, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, a full fleet of hearses and limousines, a vintage fleet, stone masonry services and a florist.
A.W. Lymn's head office serves all of Nottingham city centre and its surrounding areas including Bobbers Mill, Colwick, Hyson Green, Mapperley, Radford, Sherwood, Sneinton, St. Ann's, The Meadows and beyond.
A W Lymn is owned and managed by the Lymn Rose family. Nigel Lymn Rose, one of the company's directors, was president of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) during its centenary year in 2005.

The most excellent service available. They made everything run so smoothly and gave my partner a send off that was so respectable and just as I wanted. From the very beginning all at A W Lymn were extremely helpful and sympathetic. At this very difficult time, we were guided and helped to make the appropriate choices which resulted in a funeral which truly reflected my mother. We were shown the utmost courtesy and nothing was too much trouble. At all times A W Lymn acted in a very professional manner and we would not hesitate in recommending them.

After our dad suddengly passed away, we were all in shock. From the moment we rang up A.W.Lymn Funeral Directors we recieved excellent care.
Philip was our contact who helped us plan a funeral that really represented our dad in a beautiful way. We didn't know the area and so having Philip help us through this journey was hugely important to us. Helping with all aspects of the day. It was a day of grieving but also a day to celebrate our dad's life and legacy.
All the little details that make a funeral personal were incorporated so well.
We want to thank the whole team who supported us on the day. Our driver Nick and especially Philip for walking us through this journey in such a professional and caring way.

With my wife Pat passing so quickly the whole family was in shock, some didn't get to the family home before their mum/ momma passed, we were all over the place but one call to our chosen Funeral Directors, A.W.Lymn and all the stress of what to do next was taken from us, my wife was collected and taken to the Funeral home and was taken care of very well, everything went smoothly with Paul visiting us as Lymns representative and guided us through and was with us right up to dropping us off at home after the Funeral.. We can't thank everyone at A.W.lymns enough but we were so glad they were our choice.

Lymns are consumate professionals. Paul Richardson was our funeral director who was absolutely brilliant with my family. Nothing was too much trouble and he handled my dad's funeral with ultimate care and empathy.
