Stacey was incredible organising Dads funeral.
Barbara was our day to day contact and she was nothing short of perfect. She handled the constant revisions for the order of service, and she authentically comforted family members on the day of the viewing (she went above and beyond with my wife as no request was denied). On top of that, she supported me wash and dress my Dad. She was patient, sensitive and warm. I can not sing her praises enough.
On the day, Matthew was a class act. He rolled up his sleeves and participated in the burial of Dad, and many times could be heard singing the hymns louder than anyone else. He navigated the very hard job of being invisible whilst at other times actively participated and added to the celebration of Dads life. He was more than a funeral director and he was a great source of strength. He also looked after my Mother with TLC.
Everyone from your company made a very difficult time easier. I'd go as far to say that your company will allow us to look back on the day and smile.

Absolutely fabulous service, made to feel at ease. Everything was taken care of, staff were very kind and considerate. the funeral was more than what we could have hoped for, with special thanks to Joules, Dave, Nev (special thanks from your passengers) Tony, the motorbike driver and all who helped us in our time of need.

Although A W Lymn's head office moved to Robin Hood House on Robin Hood Street in 1977, many people in the area still refer to this office as "Lymn's on Bath Street".
The head office, built by fourth generation George Rose in the late 1970's, has several in-house funeral directors to help families with their funeral needs, and also houses most of the company's administration staff.
The funeral home is staffed by funeral directors Kevin Browne and Philip Wilson, funeral arranger Megans Rosier and Luke Mellor, and receptionist Lucinda Pallett.
The opening times are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm. Staff are also available to meet with you after office hours. Please call the telephone number at any time to arrange a convenient appointment.
Besides the administration and reception area, the premises have a coffin showroom, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, a full fleet of hearses and limousines, a vintage fleet, stone masonry services and a florist.
A.W. Lymn's head office serves all of Nottingham city centre and its surrounding areas including Bobbers Mill, Colwick, Hyson Green, Mapperley, Radford, Sherwood, Sneinton, St. Ann's, The Meadows and beyond.
A W Lymn is owned and managed by the Lymn Rose family. Nigel Lymn Rose, one of the company's directors, was president of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) during its centenary year in 2005.

I am pleased that the great-grandsons were able to focus on the journey in the Rolls-Royce. I thought that the service both in church and at the crematorium had a lovely feel and it was particularly touching that the grandson remembered his grandmotherâs wish of twenty years ago and was able to spontaneously play the special music on the organ at the crematorium. My husband passed away in the home and Lymn handled my beloved with care and empathy. The funeral directors came out to speak about the funeral arrangements and dealt with everything in an acceptable manner. My only gripe would be the handling of the coffin to see these guys deal with many a day, it wasn't carried out in a great fashion. Russell was with us throughout the arrangements and funeral - very professional, respectful. Great to have a familiar face throughout. Well done and thank you.

The circumstances of the death are so tragic and nobody can express the sorrow that we all feel. Both of you were amazing with your strength and your wish that Saffie-Rose achieved international fame. In my time as a funeral director, now approaching fifty years, I have never experienced such emotion as that expressed in the short video clips produced by Saffie-Rose's friends, many only of her age. What a beautiful girl who, at such a young age, has made her mark on this world. The personal service, preparation and care in arranging the funeral for my mother was exceptional. The owner and staff of Lymns could not have been more helpful or considerate at what is a very difficult time. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Outstanding company.
Faultless service and support from our first telephone conversation with Lymns to the end.
Nothing was too much trouble or a problem for them. Every wish was tendered to and they took care of my mum, and us with the utmost care and professionalism.
Our Funeral Director was Julia Carty and she was amazing, supportive, caring and professional. A true credit to her profession.

Jackie Lymn-Rose was very professional and understanding at all times. Nothing was too much trouble, helpful suggestions were made for our family's emotional needs and all of our questions were answered respectfully, quickly and with plenty of detail. We knew what to expect at every stage of the process and we were taken through all aspects of our services at the appropriate times.
