I have used Lymns for the funerals of both my parents. They are absolutely brilliant, and the whole experience is seamless, highly professional, and handled with complete sensitivity.

Although A W Lymn's head office moved to Robin Hood House on Robin Hood Street in 1977, many people in the area still refer to this office as "Lymn's on Bath Street".
The head office, built by fourth generation George Rose in the late 1970's, has several in-house funeral directors to help families with their funeral needs, and also houses most of the company's administration staff.
The funeral home is staffed by funeral directors Kevin Browne and Philip Wilson, funeral arranger Megans Rosier and Luke Mellor, and receptionist Lucinda Pallett.
The opening times are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm. Staff are also available to meet with you after office hours. Please call the telephone number at any time to arrange a convenient appointment.
Besides the administration and reception area, the premises have a coffin showroom, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, a full fleet of hearses and limousines, a vintage fleet, stone masonry services and a florist.
A.W. Lymn's head office serves all of Nottingham city centre and its surrounding areas including Bobbers Mill, Colwick, Hyson Green, Mapperley, Radford, Sherwood, Sneinton, St. Ann's, The Meadows and beyond.
A W Lymn is owned and managed by the Lymn Rose family. Nigel Lymn Rose, one of the company's directors, was president of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) during its centenary year in 2005.

I would like to say a big thank you to Aw Lymn in Nottingham (Kevin Browne) who looked after me and my mum,very welcoming, kind, caring organised, we also had a few jokes & laughter at this sad devastating time of my dad as my dad was a joker, thank you to Richard Marshall civil celebrant who made everything go smoothly absolutely brilliant. Excellent professional service, nothing was too much trouble. Philip who took care of my dad’s funeral was brilliant! He did everything we asked of him on time and with the upmost respect for my dad and my family. He was very approachable and had a great understanding personality which put us all at ease at a very difficult time.
Philip had dealt with my mum’s funeral just a few months ago and we asked for him specifically to take care of my dad as he had been so good previously.
The floral tribute Fiona created was beautiful, exactly what we had asked for, she was more than happy for us to provide greenery from where my dad fished and she incorporated them into the display brilliantly!
I would highly recommend A W Lymn Nottingham.

A W Lymn (Robin Hood House), were brilliant and helped us as a family, navigate our funeral arrangements. Luke and Lucinda were always on hand to give advice and guidance and were able to help ensure all plans were in place and everything ran as hoped.
The funeral was perfectly arranged and allowed us to celebrate my Aunts life without any additional stress and worry.
