A.W. Lymn's Long Eaton office is located at Lime Grove in Long Eaton, which is in peaceful surroundings inside the cemetery gates at West Park.
The site was purchased from Dick Webb funeral service in 1981 and opened as an A. W. Lymn funeral home in June 1982.
The building was the local public mortuary and features an unusual copper roof. As well as a large reception area, the premises features family rooms, visiting rooms, funeral cars from A.W. Lymn's fleet and parking on the outside, and it was completely refurbished in 2013.
The funeral home is run by funeral director Louise Bramman and is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. If you need assistance or to meet with a funeral director after hours please call the telephone number, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The branch covers all of Long Eaton and its surrounding area including Breaston, Castle Donington, Chilwell, Draycott, Hathern, Kegworth, Sawley, Sutton Bonnington, Toton and beyond.
Nigel Lymn Rose, along with his sister Jackie and his son Matthew, manages A. W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service, ensuring all families receive excellent care at all times.

Having never had to deal with arranging a funeral before it could have been daunting. However Louise Bramman was superb and straightforward to deal with in sorting my dad's funeral. Both Louise and her colleague Tom Dawkes are a credit to A.W Lymn, as was celebrant Richard Marshall, who did a phenomenal job in honouring my dad by telling his life story. I will be forever grateful.

The kindness and emotional support from staff - thanks particularly to Louise B - and how delicately the whole procedure was handled, made the most emotionally difficult decisions and discussions easy.
The service on the day of funeral was delivered with the correct level of solemnity for us as we celebrated the life rather than mourned the passing of our loved one.
Though not the cheapest option out there the professionalism and calmness was worth the price. I would recommend A W Lymn of Long Eaton happily, and should I still be living within the vicinity it will be in my Will for them to be used for me.

Forgetting the funeral flowers on the hearse is unforgivable however the service was lovely and the family appreciated Louise’s kindness.

We are sincerely sorry that the delivery of the flowers was delayed, and that they had to go directly to the Crematorium. This should not have happened, but the kindness of your Grandmother to our staff, and when we delivered the apology letter that evening confirming the flowers would be free of charge was appreciated. I am very sorry that you feel we provided a very poor service as I understand from both the funeral director Louise and the celebrant Richard that they were liaising and in contact with you most days before the funeral to tailor the service to your requirements. I note that there was a problem with the sound system in the cemetery chapel and that Richard had to play the music on his iPhone rather than there be no music at all. I also note that the flowers were not placed on the coffin or taken into the chapel as would have been our normal practice but that this was on the instructions of your brother that you relayed to us. I do hope that the rest of the service we provided was satisfactory and I really regret that you have thought it appropriate to mark us down to two stars as a direct result of the two matters that you mention.

Sorting my father's funeral was very easy with the support of the staff at Long Eaton. Julia was very sympathetic, helpful and very efficient. The celebrant they recommended was lovely and could not have chosen anyone better. Louise was very understanding when myself and my daughter visited dad in the chapel of rest and the cup of tea was very welcome.
The day of the funeral was very relaxed and everything taken care of. The service was just the right mix of remembrance and celebration of dad's life and Donna was so lovely and helpful on the day.
Thank you all for looking after us and would highly recommend your company.

On behalf of all of my family I would like to say a big thank you to all at AW Lymn for their first class professional services from the moment I walked into their door at Long Eaton to the final farewell at Bramcote crematorium . A special mention to Louise Bramman and Keith Brown who did everything possible to make sure all went smoothly. At 74 years of age it is the first time I have needed to consult a funeral organisation and I would, without any doubts, recommend AW Lymn to anyone unfortunate enough to be placed in my position.
