The Directors were all God sent they made sure that Donovan has the most beautiful send off l never dreamed of They took away the pain away from me by the way the conducted the funeral proceedings Up to now am out of words to express my gratitude and happiness May God bless you all and continue delivering ur high quality services to everyone that comes ur door way I can't thank you enough

About Us

AW Lymn's Clifton office was opened in 1990 and has a warm and welcoming ambience, with one visitation room, one family room, a reception area and cold room facilities. The premises also has off-street parking at the rear.

The funeral home is currently run by funeral director Jane Keetley, who is overseen by senior funeral director Edward Martin.

The offices are open from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, although they are also available at other times - please call the telephone number and arrange an appointment. Calls are taken 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The branch covers all of Clifton and its surroundings including Barton in Fabis, Clifton Grove, Clifton Village, East Leake, Gotham, Kingston upon Soar, Lark Hill retirement complex, Silverdale, The Meadows, Thrumpton, Wilford and beyond.

Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose manage A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service, a business founded in 1907 by Arthur W Lymn.

    In a time of confusion, emotions and the ability to think straight in what is a very short time to organise the burial of loved ones, you need support and clarity from complete strangers to guide you through both the process of but also the moment of great emotional out pouring on the day, you will not do wrong by asking and putting your trust in Lymn''s to assist in everything that is very new to anyone, the guidance through the professionalism of all the staff before, on the day and after is more than just a business to them.

    They are human too and understand everything that is alien to the individual.

    Many thanks to Joanna and especially Nigel for their personal support in our moment of time of reflection for mum.

    They went out of their way to accomadate all of our expectations and guidance of the technicallaties.

As you are aware I have known your brother Michael for approaching 40 years and it was a privilege to be asked to personally oversee the funeral of your mother.     From start to finish Neil was looked after with dignity and respect ,nothing was too much trouble for the people involved in the arrangements of his funeral,Joanna in particular was patient and pointed us all in the right direction with her gentle manner and etiquette I found that very comforting throughout,the drivers Rob and Dave were dignified and gracious on our last journey with Neil .
    I would certainly recommend to anyone this team of people who made a very heartbreaking time a whole lot easier
