I cannot find fault with the services supplied by Lymn,s Good advice was always to hand. I am sorry to say that there were some problems but this was the result of a disruptive family member. The matter was smoothly dealt with . Thank you very much Joanna. I would not hesitate to recommend Lymn's services.

About Us

AW Lymn's Clifton office was opened in 1990 and has a warm and welcoming ambience, with one visitation room, one family room, a reception area and cold room facilities. The premises also has off-street parking at the rear.

The funeral home is currently run by funeral director Jane Keetley, who is overseen by senior funeral director Edward Martin.

The offices are open from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, although they are also available at other times - please call the telephone number and arrange an appointment. Calls are taken 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The branch covers all of Clifton and its surroundings including Barton in Fabis, Clifton Grove, Clifton Village, East Leake, Gotham, Kingston upon Soar, Lark Hill retirement complex, Silverdale, The Meadows, Thrumpton, Wilford and beyond.

Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose manage A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service, a business founded in 1907 by Arthur W Lymn.

    Whilst l was really pleased with the funeral itself l was unhappy with the invoice. It had increased by £450 with no explanation. I had to ring and find out why . A mistake had been made and I was expected to accept it . I call that poor customer service.

    We were welcomed by Joanna who made the process for choosing the funeral that was relative to our mother, Joanna was vey thoughtful and helpful, there was nothing that we had to deal with.

    We would recommend A W Lymn Funeral Directors as a highly efficient firm who care about every detail of the funeral. They made suggestions which were things that we hadn't thought about and if you could ever say that a funeral was a lovely event, the funeral for our daughter was certainly it.     We were extremely pleased with the service received from Lymn's and especially from Joanna Widdowson, who was friendly, helpful and very efficient, nothing was too much trouble.

    The service information booklet was an interesting read and most helpful, with regard to floral tributes, printing etc.
