From the moment we walked into the office to organise the funeral, the funeral director, Dominic was very professional. He dealt with us with compassion and understanding. He guided us through the process of organising a funeral and made it easy to understand. On the day, the funeral went perfectly, and all who attended were impressed by the way things were conducted.

We highly recommend Lymn’s, who handle & provide such a caring, supportive and professional service for the funeral of your loved one. Mum’s funeral was everything we could have wished for, & with Dominic’s dedication & assistance we did her proud. We couldn’t ask for more.
Originally owned since the 1960’s by the Beeson family, this funeral home was bought by the Lymn Roses in 1994. This beautiful detached house has two visitation rooms, a reception room, cold room facilities and a small parking area.
AW Lymn's Bingham branch is open Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and closed on weekends, but can be open at other times by prior appointment.
Dominic Lister, who has worked at A W Lymn since 2009, is the funeral director responsible for this office and also lives locally.
Covering all of Bingham, this branch also serves its surrounding area including Barnstone, Carr Colston, Colston Bassett, Cotgrave, Cropwell Bishop, Cropwell Butler, East Bridgford, Flintham, Granby, Gunthorpe, Hickling, Harby, Kinoulton, Langar, Long Clawson, Lowdham, Owthorpe, Plungar, Radcliffe, Tythby, Upper Saxondale and beyond.

Everyone at Lymn's were fantastic from my first call to them late on the eveing before Easter Sunday. Michelle assured me that I could call her 24/7 which I did as Dad passed away early the next morning. It was wonderful to speak to a kind understanding human. I had one or two meetings with Dominic at the Bingham office to discuss the funeral and Order of Service as Mum kept changing her mind about everything. Nothing was too much trouble. Gary too, who took over from Dominic, having been fully briefed was very patient and thorough. Last, but by no means least Edward came to visit my mother, brother and I to go through what precisely would happen throughout the day. At 92 Mum found this very reassuring and Edward was there to support us through it all. Thanks all, you were amazing.

Unfortunately A,W Lywn has degraded in service and lack of compassion. It is solely interested in the amount of money you can make rather than carting for the family or deceased. Along with the management having zero empathy or compassion. The embalmers lied on what they said there did saying they had cleaned and prepared the body for viewing and this wasn’t done. When complained to management, they didn’t care and just shrugged it off. Everything was for money. I wont use again. I will definitely be going to CO-OP funeral service next time.

I find it extremely disappointing that you have allowed three months to elapse before placing such an inaccurate review and making unfounded statements about the service provided by our family company. I do not view this funeral as indicative of “didn’t care and just shrugged it off” and I would suggest that if the other reviews for this office are examined it will be clear that your comments and 1* rating are completely unjustified.

Excellent doesn't seem enough praise for this absolutely wonderful service. Dominic made what was a real ordeal for me (my husband's death was unexpected) much easier than I thought it would be. He talked me through all my options until I felt comfortable with my choices and was so kind and respectful I really can't praise him highly enough. His 'team' was efficient and respectful and special thanks must also go to Lily, the celebrant, who gave a very moving address to send Rob on his final journey.
I will forever be grateful.
