St. Albans House in Arnold was opened in 1996 by Alison Maddaford in her capacity as President of the National Association of Funeral Directors. The funeral home underwent an extension in late 2012 and was fully refurbished in 2023 to provide modern, comfortable facilities for families.
Led by Funeral Director Russell Kemp, who possesses extensive knowledge of Arnold’s community churches and customs, the funeral home is supported by Funeral Arranger Jessica Raynor and Receptionists/Administrators Beryl Spencer and Jodie Ruth. Together, they offer compassionate and professional funeral services tailored to each family's needs.
St. Albans House provides a range of facilities to ensure dignified and respectful arrangements:

- A welcoming reception area with two private reception rooms
- Three visitation rooms, including a suite with an adjoining private space for families

I saw her in the chapel of rest ,and she looked absolutely beautiful,after her illness in hospital they gave me my Jean back as my final memory I don,t think I could have picked a more professional firm to help me to deliver her to her God. The pre service arrangements were all very good, however, they arrived 20 minutes late on the day of the funeral which was unrcessairly stressful for the family and not what I would have expected from a reputable firm.

Over the last four years, AW Lymn have taken very good care of four family members.
The funeral of each loved one has been beautifully and respectfully performed with great dignity. I had great support and kindness, not to mention exceptional patience from everyone,most especially Beryl.

No other choice of funer directors for me, all the staff are caring and sensitive to your needs and could not be more helpful at a very difficult time. We have used them twice in the past 18 months and can't find a fault with anything. The staff make you feel like friends rather than clients without any awkward moments.

Excellent attention to every detail. Lovely staff. Floristry breathtaking as was choice of coffins. Only one thing was more choice of shrouds . My grandparents had beautiful embroidered ones in their chose satin which would have been my first choice for Mumx. Also re wake I went on Pinterest for some lovely ideas which brought the whole family together and made it into a loving happy occasion

Elle was fantastic , nothing was to much trouble . All the help and support so my fathers funeral Went well . Everything was sorted from the first day we went to arrange my fathers funeral .
Explained everything we needed to do and what would happen if we had any question Elle would sort it out
My father funeral was a sad day as we had to say goodbye . The funeral staff ( Mark) and the drivers was all fantastic couldn't of wished for anything better . The cars we had was beautiful .
