St. Albans House, situated in Arnold, was opened in 1996 by Alison Maddaford, the president of the National Association of Funeral Directors at the time, and extended during late 2012. It is now run by Russell Kemp who has a very good knowledge of Arnold’s people, ministers, churches and customs. Russell gained his Diploma qualification with the National Association of Funeral Directors and is assisted by our funeral arranger Jessica Raynor. Beryl Spencer and Jodie Ruth are the receptionists / administrators.
A.W. Lymn's Arnold branch features a parking area, reception, two private reception rooms, two visitation rooms and also a visitation suite with an adjoining room where the family can spend time in private. There are also cold room facilities and a small memorial showroom.
Russell, Jessica, Beryl and Jodie will be more than pleased to offer any assistance you require, whether this is ’at need’, or simply an enquiry for the future. The funeral home is open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday. All A.W. Lymn funeral homes are also open at any time by appointment and the telephone line is available every day of the week, 24 hours a day.
This branch covers all of Arnold and the surrounding areas including Calverton, Daybrook, Epperstone, Killisick, Lambley, Lowdham, Oxton, Redhill, Woodthorpe and beyond.
A.W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service is managed by Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose, who are keeping the family tradition in providing the best service for bereaved families since 1907.

I can highly recommend Lymns, they were professional and caring from the first telephone call to the funeral service and burial. I first spoke to Russell at the Arnold branch to make an appointment and he was very polite and courteous and explained everything to me. We then dealt with Deanna when we went to the office. She was excellent and guided us through the process with complete professionalism and empathy. The funeral itself went without a hitch, the drivers and everyone involved were polite and courteous and this extended to the burial too. The little touches such as a basket of rose petals to sprinkle onto the coffin and the vase of flowers were much appreciated. Lymns made what was a very difficult day much easier with their exceptional service.

i can't speak highly enough about all of the staff I came into contact with at the Arnold branch of Lymn's while recently arranging my Mum's funeral. It made the process so much easier during a very emotional time.
Everything ran very smoothly on the day and this helped to provide lovely memories of a very special day for us - remembering and celebrating my Mum's life.

From start to finish, every member of the team (Beryl on reception, Ellie, co-ordinator and Colum on the day) were helpful, sympathetic and supportive. They guided us through the process which we found very hard to deal with at the time.

Complete professionalism from my first meeting with Ellie at the funeral home to my final handshake with Russell at the crematorium . We have been shown nothing but care and compassion all the way through the painful process of saying farewell to our Mum. Beryl was wonderfully supportive when visiting Mum at the chapel of rest and a big box of tissues was always at the ready. I really do feel that after our first meeting with Ellie absolutely everything was done for us and all we had to do was turn up on the day. Marvellous service throughout.

From the moment my sisters and I entered Lymns office at Arnold to arrange our Mothers funeral we expected to have to carry out a whole list of things to ensure that our Mother needs were taken care of. We need not have worried as Ellie led us through the entire precedier and and took care of every detail. This service continued throughout enabling us to grieve our Mothers passing.
