St. Albans House in Arnold was opened in 1996 by Alison Maddaford in her capacity as President of the National Association of Funeral Directors. The funeral home underwent an extension in late 2012 and was fully refurbished in 2023 to provide modern, comfortable facilities for families.
Led by Funeral Director Russell Kemp, who possesses extensive knowledge of Arnold’s community churches and customs, the funeral home is supported by Funeral Arranger Jessica Raynor and Receptionists/Administrators Beryl Spencer and Jodie Ruth. Together, they offer compassionate and professional funeral services tailored to each family's needs.
St. Albans House provides a range of facilities to ensure dignified and respectful arrangements:

Arnold will never seem the same without our neighbour who popped in regularly prior to her move to assisted care and whom our staff continued to visit after that move. I was in two minds as to if I should rate as excellent - how can a funeral of a loved one be described as such? But the management of this sad occasion was undertaken in a very professional manner, as always. The celebrant used just the right tone for the service, and it was a commemoration of my mothers life.
I would use again, but having said that, I hope that's a long time in the future.

very happy with the service despite late start of service, all went well. Lymns were very honest about the error that had occurred and we were all happy with their explanation and also for their contribution to the charity we had chosen for mum.

This is a very professional, caring company who were absolutely fantastic during our time of grieving. Not experiencing a family death, Ellie was exceptional from the moment we asked her to care for our dad. The celebrant Cheryl was outstanding. Many friends talked about Cheryl at Dad's wake- she was a credit to her profession and made a very sad time, memorable for all the right reasons. Thank you A.W Lymn, Ellie and Cheryl.

All went well on our sad day with Lymn's of Arnold taking care of all the major and minor details for the funeral.

On behalf of my bereaved aunt I would like to thank your staff for their professional and empathetic approach to their work. They sympathetically guide you through the bereavement maze of decisions and notifications.....at no stage did their attention seem rushed but they were always there to give guidance and recommendations. They enabled me to plan my cousins Nottingham cremation with ease from Kent whilst being hugely supportive of my elderly aunt. This was typified by their courteous handling ( literally) of my aunt on the day of the funeral. Mark and Russell did a super job as did our driver who enabled us to drive to Bramcote sedately and yet somehow relaxed. Huge thanks. Marion Hudson
