AW Lymn were extremely good under very difficult circumstances. I needed to arrange a funeral for my brother but wasn't able to be at their offices in person.
They were able to help me at arm's length over the phone, via email and post. Ellie and Beryl were particularly good, always professional, helpful and everything was done with an attention to detail.
The celebrant Victoria was also excellent and always available at the end of the phone or email.
Thank you very much for making the ordeal less painful.

St. Albans House, situated in Arnold, was opened in 1996 by Alison Maddaford, the president of the National Association of Funeral Directors at the time, and extended during late 2012. It is now run by Russell Kemp who has a very good knowledge of Arnold’s people, ministers, churches and customs. Russell gained his Diploma qualification with the National Association of Funeral Directors and is assisted by our funeral arranger Jessica Raynor. Beryl Spencer and Jodie Ruth are the receptionists / administrators.
A.W. Lymn's Arnold branch features a parking area, reception, two private reception rooms, two visitation rooms and also a visitation suite with an adjoining room where the family can spend time in private. There are also cold room facilities and a small memorial showroom.
Russell, Jessica, Beryl and Jodie will be more than pleased to offer any assistance you require, whether this is ’at need’, or simply an enquiry for the future. The funeral home is open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday. All A.W. Lymn funeral homes are also open at any time by appointment and the telephone line is available every day of the week, 24 hours a day.
This branch covers all of Arnold and the surrounding areas including Calverton, Daybrook, Epperstone, Killisick, Lambley, Lowdham, Oxton, Redhill, Woodthorpe and beyond.
A.W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service is managed by Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose, who are keeping the family tradition in providing the best service for bereaved families since 1907.

From the very start staff were very nice and compassionate.

In what has to be one of the more emotional stages in life the staff at A.W. Lymm showed nothing but compassion & patience. The service was efficient and helpful in simplifying the decisions to be made. The event was perfect in the way they handled the ceremony and people.

A very professional and supportive service at a very emotional and chaotic time. The Celebrant provided (Keith Brown) was exceptional and kept us all strong and focused on the good times we shared with our dear departed father. Our thanks to all the staff!

The service provided was impeccable
Ellie listened to everything we required and this was provided spot on. All staff and drivers were caring and empathic towards all the family and guests. I will certainly use A W Lymns again and recommend them thank you for their kindness

Everything went very smoothly on the day.We had help from Beryl,Ellie,and Russel from the planning to the day of the funeral.They went out of their way so Gloria could go past her old address at 162, Mansfield Road,where she lived when I met her.We would also like to thank the Celebrant Keith Brown for his help sorting the order of service and and the way it was conducted on the day.
