St. Albans House in Arnold was opened in 1996 by Alison Maddaford in her capacity as President of the National Association of Funeral Directors. The funeral home underwent an extension in late 2012 and was fully refurbished in 2023 to provide modern, comfortable facilities for families.
Led by Funeral Director Russell Kemp, who possesses extensive knowledge of Arnold’s community churches and customs, the funeral home is supported by Funeral Arranger Jessica Raynor and Receptionists/Administrators Beryl Spencer and Jodie Ruth. Together, they offer compassionate and professional funeral services tailored to each family's needs.
St. Albans House provides a range of facilities to ensure dignified and respectful arrangements:

- A welcoming reception area with two private reception rooms
- Three visitation rooms, including a suite with an adjoining private space for families

The only comment we would like to make is attention to detail when dressing... mum's buttons on her cardigan were not buttoned up properly which I had to address as she was a very meticulous dresser.. just a point to think on for future reference, apart from that everything was perfect.. thank you.. staff very helpful and kind

From the first moment of contacting Lymn's everything has been handled in such a caring, professional, loving and safe manner. Nothing has been too much trouble for them, there has never been any rush over anythingand the funeral went so very smoothly. I was so well looked after on the day and felt very safe. We could not have been better supported.From the first contact to the last everyone was excellent.Our loved one Arthur was cared for with respect and dignity and Lymns enabled us to give him the farewell he deserved and chose himself.Nothing was to much trouble and we as a family feel that we did Arthur proud and this is because of Lymns.I would recommend them to care for your loved one with 100% certainty.

The service provided by Lymns was excellent, a date was arranged with a quick turn around and whilst initially I worried whether everything would be sorted in time, it soon became clear that everything was under control. The teamwork shown on the day was second to none and each member of staff involved played their part respectfully. The celebrant suggested (Anja) was professional and the perfect person for the job. Thanks to everyone involved on the day including Emma and Beryl.

From the initial meeting with Emma at Lymns to the day of the funeral I found all concerned with Jerry’s funeral extremely professional, kind and caring. Nothing was too much trouble. On the day of the funeral their support made a very difficult day bearable. I thank you all so much.
