When dealing with the loss of my loved one , it was hard to know where to begin with organising a funeral for mum.
They were fantastic from the moment we rang them to stepping in through their door dealing with the lovely Jessica , to the funeral service and all the staff involved being so professional and caring.

The care and support you gave us at such an emotional sad time in our life's.
St. Albans House, situated in Arnold, was opened in 1996 by Alison Maddaford, the president of the National Association of Funeral Directors at the time, and extended during late 2012. It is now run by Russell Kemp who has a very good knowledge of Arnold’s people, ministers, churches and customs. Russell gained his Diploma qualification with the National Association of Funeral Directors and is assisted by our funeral arranger Jessica Raynor. Beryl Spencer and Jodie Ruth are the receptionists / administrators.
A.W. Lymn's Arnold branch features a parking area, reception, two private reception rooms, two visitation rooms and also a visitation suite with an adjoining room where the family can spend time in private. There are also cold room facilities and a small memorial showroom.
Russell, Jessica, Beryl and Jodie will be more than pleased to offer any assistance you require, whether this is ’at need’, or simply an enquiry for the future. The funeral home is open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday. All A.W. Lymn funeral homes are also open at any time by appointment and the telephone line is available every day of the week, 24 hours a day.
This branch covers all of Arnold and the surrounding areas including Calverton, Daybrook, Epperstone, Killisick, Lambley, Lowdham, Oxton, Redhill, Woodthorpe and beyond.
A.W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service is managed by Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose, who are keeping the family tradition in providing the best service for bereaved families since 1907.

My experience, of dealing with A.W. Lymn was very positive. They were very respectful, they were kind, and very professional. I had two meetings at the offices, and later at the Funeral.
At all times they treated me, my family and my deceased wife's body with respect and dignity. They were very sympathetic and helpful dealing with all of my family's requests in a calm and professional manner.
Arranging the funeral of a loved one is very traumatic. Lymns helped me and family through the whole process in a kind and respectful way, from the collection of my wife's body, to finally laying her to rest. They were a great help during a difficult time. Later several of the mourners came to me and said how beautiful the entire ceremony had been.

It was with great sadness that we were called upon to conduct the funeral of my dear friend Jim. Having known him for upwards of 40 years it was so very difficult. I cannot thank everyone at A.W. Lymn Arnold enough. From the moment I was first in touch with them to the collection of my dad's ashes they have been superb. Communication has been second to none with them always keeping me fully informed. The respect and care they showed my dad was so thoughtful and enabled me to relax in the knowledge that he was being treated with great dignity. The death of a loved one is a very sad time and decisions that would normally be very easy are suddenly extremely difficult. Jodie, Jessica, Russ and Phillip helped me and never pressured me for quick responses. I would happily recommend their service to anybody.
