First class experience at a terribly upsetting, time .I speak on behalf of my whole family. From picking my father up ,conversing with all parties involved and a Top class service at the crematorium orated by Mr Mark Andrews. THE COOP

From the very first appointment, David and Kim guided us through the process of arranging our dear dad's funeral with kindness, warmth and professionalism. The day of the funeral was all that we could have wished it to be thanks to David. Our family will be forever grateful for respect and care shown towards our dad.

Barbara had a pre-paid funeral plan which included her wish for horses rather than a motorised hearse. Check in with funeral director 24 hours before and everything was said to be in place but on the day there were no horses and no communication to say this would be the case. While I accept this was not within the control of the funeral director, I am sure he would have know this at some point in the morning and informed us as the service was at 1pm. The drive to the crematorium was rushed to say the least as Co-op were running late, presumably due to lack of horses and trying to find an alternative. Wishes also included curtains in crematorium being left open on committal but they were closed and little touches, like Barb's photo on the coffin not being centred properly in it's frame, presumably dislodged in the haste to set up. One guest has also commented since that it appeared that the coffin bearers nearly dropped the coffin on taking it out of the hearse. Service from Co-op up to the day had been wonderful but putting it into practice left a lot to be desired and did not meet Barb's wishes.
