J.W. Hutchinson Family Funeral Services was established in 1904 and was sold to A.W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service in 2018. The building was fully renovated and modernised in 2019.
The funeral home is run by Funeral Arranger Becky Hogg who will be able to assist you Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, from 9 am to 12.30 pm. If you need assistance outside of office hours then please call the telephone number at any time.
The funeral home covers Rainworth and all its surrounding areas, including Blidworth, Bilsthorpe, Clipstone, Farnsfield, Papplewick, Ravenshead, Oxton and further afield.
Established in 1907, A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service is owned and managed by the Lymn Rose family. Nowadays, Nigel, Jackie and Matthew Lymn Rose run the company.

The service that we have received from Becky, Colum, Jonathan and Andy on 2 recent occasions within our family has been amazing....
On both occasions Becky supported us throughout the whole process taking care of every detail at such an emotional time in our lives. The team - Becky, Colum, Jonathan and Andy - were so professional. They were immaculately presented and they were so clear and articulate with instructions they were patient and understanding, compassionate, kind and caring and above all respectful.

The service I and my daughters received was superb. Becky at Rainworth was extremely helpful, understanding and explained all the procedures from the very first appointment and on subsequent occasions. Couldn't fault anything about the way they arranged for the funeral of my Mum.
They were so helpful, patient and sympathetic with the way they interacted with me at every stage. Even little things that I didn't even think of, which turned out really helpful, they did.
I would recommend anyone go to A W Lymn at Rainworth if I was asked.

Absolutely first class service. Becky was amazing in helping us to sort everything out and always empathic and caring. Edward on the day of the funeral was truly exceptional is taking charge of the running and making sure it all went as smoothly as possible for us.
All the staff are immaculately dressed and so helpful and professional. Sadly, this is my third time in using A W Lymn of Rainworth and on all occasions they have been exceptional.

Becky and I were terribly saddened to have been called upon once again in such a short period of time to serve your family. The send off you arranged for Dave was wonderful. After the Rolls Royce hearse and then the horsedrawn cortege, I am pleased you found the final leg of his journey in our ‘rescue hearse’ appropriate due to the weather conditions, with Dave’s love for Land Rovers! Our funeral arranger Becky was wonderful. She was knowledgeable, sympathetic, and nothing was too much trouble. The drivers on the day were fantastic too and again nothing was too much trouble to make sure my mum had the send off she deserved. I would thoroughly recommend this family company to anyone having to arrange a funeral for a loved one. You will be in safe hands and their care and professionalism makes a really difficult time much easier knowing all the details are being taken care of.

We have used Lynn’s funeral services twice before, and sadly my dad has passed away in August.
All staff are compassionate , caring and professional , and looked after my dad as if he was there own.

After walking into the Rainworth branch not knowing what to say, how to start with organising a funeral as this was my 'first' time dealing with anything like this Becky met me at the door took everything in hand and guided me through everything.
Absolute star, Becky needs bottling, I couldn't have asked for a better person to help.
The eve before the funeral another member of staff rang me, 'Jonathan' just to guide me through the morning of the funeral and to ask of any minute alterations.
Jonathan was so kind when we met and gave my late mum the respect she deserved.
I have given 5 stars because it's thoroughly worth it. Albeit a small funeral I felt we were given the best service.
