We were delighted to have chosen A W Lymn to be mum's funeral directors when we initially took out the Pre-Paid Funeral Plan some 4 years ago. They were extremely helpful at that time and I must say they have been outstanding now that we have needed them to take care of the actual funeral and to look after our late mother.
David's attention to detail is second to none, he explained everything very clearly and always with great respect and compassion. Nothing has been too much trouble for him and my sister and I are very grateful for his assistance.
With his help and all involved at AW Lymn we gave mum the funeral she wanted and deserved.

When dad passed away and Jonathan came to collect him, the compassion and care never stopped right through to the day we said our final goodbye.
David was very helpful when arranging the funeral for us - nothing was too much trouble, no matter how many times we changed and altered the plans. On the day I wouldn't have had anyone but Jonathan overseeing everything. (He did such an amazing job when we said goodbye to mum) He ensured everything went smoothly and we didn't have to worry about anything at all, just saying goodbye to Dad.

It's really difficult going through practical processes while suffering grief but David Clarke from Lymns in Mansfield helped me every step of the way. Always patient and kind, David advised in such a way that the practicalities were easier to deal with and understand. I was so grateful that arranging Mum's funeral was something I could actually achieve at such a difficult time.

On the day of the funeral our family and friends were all impressed with the service and how well it ran. It was personalised to represent our mother and her life and so very special to us. Everyone commented on how special the service was.

I can only say thank you but it isn't nearly enough.

I would like to thank David Clarke of A.W. Lymn for a professional and courteous service from start to finish.

Thank you for all the care you took of Andy, from the small things like when I advised that Andy's t-shirt wasn't to be tucked into his trousers (for when we could view) as it was something he never did, to calling him by his known name of Andy when his first name was John, only small things but it meant a lot to me.

There was a problem with the coffin which was supplied by an outside company (nothing to do with A.W.Lymn) but David advised of the problem and sorted it out.

Keeping me informed step by step of what was happening along the way.

Nothing was too much trouble, email questions answered efficiently along with phone calls and knowing that I could call at anytime for advice.

David wasn't sure if he would be taking the funeral as he was covering as someone was off sick but he did and I'm so grateful that he did, he was wonderful on the day of the funeral, advising what was going to happen and what we need to do and when. My daughter who came with me to the Mansfield office said what a lovely man,he really cares about the job he is doing and the bereaved families.

I cannot thank David and all the staff of A.W. Lymn for all their support and kindness they showed us at our time of sadness.

Having used AW Lymn before for my Mum’s funeral, we chose them again for Dad’s funeral. David Clarke was exceptional throughout this process, absolutely first class. He left nothing to chance, stayed in constant contact even over Christmas and ensured the funeral ran perfectly. David made all the difference and the silver Rolls Royces a nice touch. It has honestly helped us to start moving on. Can’t recommend highly enough.
