A W. Lymn were brilliant for my husband Charles Humphries funeral nothing was to much trouble.The pall bearers were really kind and caring.I went to see my husband in the chapel of rest the day before he looked really peaceful just like he was asleep also the chapel was a lovely calming place.It was Stacey that arranged everything for us she was very good made us feel at ease

Every member of staff was helpful from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. No matter how many times we called or emailed or changed our minds. I would Highly recommend to anyone and I already have to a few people. Every little detail was perfect. Even down to the most beautiful order of service I have ever seen (and everyone who came agreed) you’re loved ones are in good hands at lymns. We used Mansfield Woodhouse branch and were looked after by Jonathan. Thanks
The office, known as The Old Farm, is located in one of the oldest buildings in Mansfield Woodhouse, a former farmhouse that has recently been completely refurbished. It is set in lovely rural surroundings and has a beautiful service chapel, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, washing facilities for specific funeral rites, plenty of parking and a full fleet of hearse and limousines.
Cyril Welsh Funeral Directors, who previously had offices at the premises, was incorporated by the A W Lymn group. The branch has most of the north Nottingham fleet on site, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom VII hearse and matching limousines.
Jonathan Baker is the area manager and the office is staffed by funeral directors Andy Askew and Stacey Burman and funeral arranger Wendy Walker & Max Whitehouse, who will be more than pleased to assist you during office hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
If you need assistance outside of these hours, please call the telephone number at any time and the office can be opened for you at your convenience.
The branch serves all of Mansfield Woodhouse and its surrounding area including Berry Hill, Blidworth, Church Warsop, Clipstone, Forest Town, Harlow Wood, Ladybrook, Mansfield, Pleasley, Rainworth, Ravenshead, Shirebrook, Warsop, Warsop Vale and beyond.

Lymns gave our Dad a wonderful send off yesterday, providing their beautiful little chapel for us to hold a small intimate service before his meadow burial. We would like to Thankyou all so much for your professionalism, kindness and respect on Friday for the Farewell of Margaret Metheringham.
The compassion of your staff is second to none.
Little details like ‘Remember Me’ feather pouch and also the little purse with returned earrings are the perfect touch. I will always remember the stubborn Dove who wanted to stay a little longer and the way the gentleman coaxed her out of the tree.
Will recommend always.

We as a family cannot fault the way we were treated with both my mother's funeral back in 2002, and then more recently with my father's funeral. Right from the beginning they acted very professionally but at the same time sympathetic...nothing was too much trouble...we were never rushed, we were given plenty of time deciding on what we wanted and we felt that our loss was theirs. Although there was sadness on the actual funeral day, there was also tears of joy just because of the way we were treated.
