Losing a loved one is never easy but with Lymn's in charge of mum's funeral I knew we were in safe hands. So many positive's, its hard to know where to start. Wendy was kind and ... sensitive whilst being professional. The Chapel of Rest was just right - the perfect setting to pay one's last respect's. On the day of the funeral I was so nervous I thought I'd never get through it but Jonathan was amazing and gave me every confidence that all would be well and it was. The hearse was stunning. I really felt mum travelled in style to her final resting place. As was our car, both were Rolls Royce's. Wendy matched us perfectly to a wonderful celebrant - Anja who conducted mum's service perfectly. I can now look back on that sad day with fond memories thanks to Lymn's. more

My mum’s funeral was conducted very sympathetically and all the staff were excellent in their approach.
The services by Nicky both at church and the crematorium were personal to mu ... m and even the car we were able to choose for her was perfect
I would like to thank Lymns for making a sad day much more bearable.

Thank you to AWLYMN at Mansfield Woodhouse for providing an excellent service and helping the family through such a difficult time.
The office, known as The Old Farm, is located in one of the oldest buildings in Mansfield Woodhouse, a former farmhouse that has recently been completely refurbished. It is set in lovely rural surroundings and has a beautiful service chapel, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, washing facilities for specific funeral rites, plenty of parking and a full fleet of hearse and limousines.
Cyril Welsh Funeral Directors, who previously had offices at the premises, was incorporated by the A W Lymn group. The branch has most of the north Nottingham fleet on site, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom VII hearse and matching limousines.
Jonathan Baker is the area manager and the office is staffed by funeral directors Andy Askew and Stacey Burman and funeral arranger Wendy Walker & Max Whitehouse, who will be more than pleased to assist you during office hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
If you need assistance outside of these hours, please call the telephone number at any time and the office can be opened for you at your convenience.
The branch serves all of Mansfield Woodhouse and its surrounding area including Berry Hill, Blidworth, Church Warsop, Clipstone, Forest Town, Harlow Wood, Ladybrook, Mansfield, Pleasley, Rainworth, Ravenshead, Shirebrook, Warsop, Warsop Vale and beyond.

When my David passed away, it's so heartbreaking, but Lymn's made the process easy, what they offer its worth the weight in gold,
My David had the big red bus, it felt like the whole family was travelling with him together, we had David's favourite music playing, my David would have loved it ,
It made a very sad time into a celebration of life, and my David wouldn't have had it any other way
They are professional, caring, understanding, Wendy was amazing and that i will never forget ,

We were promised personal attention whilst that person then went on vacation without telling us, then we were passed to a new person each day!
I felt I was doing all the chasing for arrangements When I rang to pay the invoice they could not find it and asked me how much I owed them! One guy called Johnathan was really good but got an overall impression that it was more a commercial business than a personalized funeral director. I will not use this company again.

I very much regret that your experience of our family company proved lacking on this occasion. Unfortunately, although we were aware that that you had some issues we did not know the detail before this review. Matthew, our Managing Director, called you a number of times to discuss your concerns but these remained unanswered and the voicemails he left requesting a call back did not receive a response. Having now investigated the information contained in the review I would record my personal apologies that an error arose concerning a telephone number and that the funeral arranger overseeing the funeral unfortunately, for family reasons, was absent for three days without informing you. I thank you for your praise of Jonathan who dealt with matters during her absence and he tells me that the issue with the invoice arose because our accounts staff are still working from home until such time as the government releases us from the Covid restrictions.
