Wendy was extremely helpful in the arranging of my mums funeral from the start. Stacey was also very helpful when my niece and I came to visit mum in the chapel.
When ... it came to the day of the funeral Jonathan was also extremely helpful in guiding my family to the crematorium.
I would also like to say Philip Dackombe the celebrant was also excellent in his help at arranging mums funeral service, I am so very grateful to him.
All in all I was extremely thankful to everybody involved in my mum Sheila Bradleys funeral more

The office, known as The Old Farm, is located in one of the oldest buildings in Mansfield Woodhouse, a former farmhouse that has recently been completely refurbished. It is set in lovely rural surroundings and has a beautiful service chapel, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, washing facilities for specific funeral rites, plenty of parking and a full fleet of hearse and limousines.
Cyril Welsh Funeral Directors, who previously had offices at the premises, was incorporated by the A W Lymn group. The branch has most of the north Nottingham fleet on site, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom VII hearse and matching limousines.
Jonathan Baker is the area manager and the office is staffed by funeral directors Andy Askew and Stacey Burman and funeral arranger Wendy Walker & Max Whitehouse, who will be more than pleased to assist you during office hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
If you need assistance outside of these hours, please call the telephone number at any time and the office can be opened for you at your convenience.
The branch serves all of Mansfield Woodhouse and its surrounding area including Berry Hill, Blidworth, Church Warsop, Clipstone, Forest Town, Harlow Wood, Ladybrook, Mansfield, Pleasley, Rainworth, Ravenshead, Shirebrook, Warsop, Warsop Vale and beyond.

Myself & my whole family Will never ever be able to Thank Stacey or Johnathan or indeed the whole team at Lymns in Mansfield Woodhouse, for their kindness & utmost professionalism shown to me at the most devastating and sad time of my life. My husbands funeral wasn’t straightforward in any way and I unfortunately became a victim of a a very unscrupulous bunch of charlatans in another area. I can’t bear to imagine what my husband Peter Debics funeral would have been like if I had carried on with them.
LYMNS at Mansfield Woodhouse were totally AMAZING !! they took over the whole thing, & completely removed ALL the worry & stress I was under, they took it all off of my shoulders, The funeral itself was absolutely great ! a send off my husband would have been proud of , everyone of our guests commented on the total professionalism and sheer attention to detail shown by LYMNS.
Johnathan kindly granted my request to deliver a speech that my husband loved & q ... uite a difficult one to give to a roomful of ex military & guests but he did it & he did it with nothing less than sheer aplomb & gave it in such a way as to leave us all utterly speechless ,so many people have come to me since & said how beautifully and powerfully he delivered the St Crispians day speech from Henry V. Take a look at it, it’s NOT easy.Thankyou so very very much It was a sad way to make new friends but at LYMNS I found two very lovley friends.
I have to add ,the funeral of a loved one is not something any of us want to deal with , but it is sadly a part of life, & I would say this to anyone reading this review, it’s important in fact vital , in the days following your loved ones funeral when your left wondering & need reassurances from everywhere that you did things right for them that you know your loved one was in the care of the very best .more

From my first meeting with Jonathan Baker, I knew that we were in safe hands. I was guided slowly through the funeral we wanted for James, never rushed and constantly re-assured we could contact Jonathan or Stacey at any time.

I chose A .W . Lymn following the passing of my beloved husband because they were local to where we live. The service they provided made what was a difficult day so much easier to bear. Everything felt so personal to both myself and my family & friends. I was gently supported from the very first visit to their offices right through to the day itself. They gently led us through the day from start to finish, from their arrival at our home, the respectful journey to the Crematorium, the guidance for our bearers, their care for myself in the giving of a flower from the coffin spray, through to the final details following the service. Thank you are two small words with a wealth of meaning behind them. I didn't want to be there but they made it bearable.
