The compassion and support given by each member of the team during this difficult period in my life has exceeded any expectation I may have had. The respect shown towards the livin ... g and deceased was genuine and sincere. Following the funeral service I have received numerous compliments from family and friends on how professional, yet personal the service provided by Lymn's was.
In the nicest possible way I do hope that I will not have to call upon their services for a while but when that time comes again I will not be looking for an alternative company to take care of my loved ones.more
The office, known as The Old Farm, is located in one of the oldest buildings in Mansfield Woodhouse, a former farmhouse that has recently been completely refurbished. It is set in lovely rural surroundings and has a beautiful service chapel, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, washing facilities for specific funeral rites, plenty of parking and a full fleet of hearse and limousines.
Cyril Welsh Funeral Directors, who previously had offices at the premises, was incorporated by the A W Lymn group. The branch has most of the north Nottingham fleet on site, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom VII hearse and matching limousines.
Jonathan Baker is the area manager and the office is staffed by funeral directors Andy Askew and Stacey Burman and funeral arranger Wendy Walker & Max Whitehouse, who will be more than pleased to assist you during office hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
If you need assistance outside of these hours, please call the telephone number at any time and the office can be opened for you at your convenience.
The branch serves all of Mansfield Woodhouse and its surrounding area including Berry Hill, Blidworth, Church Warsop, Clipstone, Forest Town, Harlow Wood, Ladybrook, Mansfield, Pleasley, Rainworth, Ravenshead, Shirebrook, Warsop, Warsop Vale and beyond.

A W Lymns were absolutely amazing during the recent death of my 29 year old daughter. They were compassionate, understanding and kind they saw to every detail and made sure that everything ran smoothly. They way that Andy was with the deceased 9 year old daughter will stay with us for ever. They truly were amazing and we can't thank them enough for helping us through such a difficult time in our life's. They have never once demanded payments or requested money, even after the event. They have gone out their way to ensure we have the appropriate time to get our heads straight following a series of sad events. We have nothing but love for lymns and would highly recommend them to others should they need to use such a service. Our heart felt thanks to Elaine, Andy and all the team at Lymns you are truly a fantastic team and amazing and the job you do. I didn't look forward to making plans for my mom's funeral but the guidance and emotional support I received was outstanding. I was never at any point rushed and was always welcomed like a big warm blanket wrapped round me.
