Excellent service provided, took every aspect under control and advised appropriately. Very compassionate and kind we all work undertaken. The service was first class from start to finish, this included prior to and after the funeral service. The upmost professionals. Would definitely recommend the co-op funeral service to others with out hesitation. Truly amazing, professional and kind natured individuals and as a professional team also.

I have to say that my experience with Chris Phillips our funeral director and all of the coop staff was beyond what I expected. They were fantastic and I would highly recommend them to anyone. We were all so impressed with their professionalism and efficiency at a very difficult time.

Didn’t comply with dads wishes by saying that his choice of coffin was not available? Really! No dark oak coffins, I don’t believe that and think it was a cost cutting exercise.  You defaulted on your agreement with him. See his pre paid funeral plan.
Got dads name wrong twice in emails. 
Got the order of service wrong and ask me to pay to correct it. 
Funeral felt very rushed. 
More than happy to discuss if you are interested in service recovery or reputational damage aspects of you business.

the death of Ellen, the Cooperative Funeral Care made me at ease, and did all what had to done in a very professional way. A load was taken off my mind and I cannot thank them enough.

Over the past 18months we have used the Coop funeral care on 3 separate occasions. 
Two were for prepaid funeral care plans and the 3rd was for my husband who tragically died the day before we were due to remarry on our 49th wedding anniversary. 
Throughout our dealings with the staff in Ashington and Blyth I have found them to be empathetic towards me and my family and understanding to family dynamics and sorrow. They have carried out our wishes and made my husbands funeral bespoke and very tailored to both his and our wishes.
I could not find fault in anything that they did for us in such a very traumatic time.

Gary Stafford, our funeral director was really good at giving us advice on our sisters funeral. He kept in touch on a regular basis and ensured we were happy with everything. The ladies in the Ashington branch were also so kind and professional looking after Deirdre in the chapel of rest. Nothing was too much bother for them.

Chris Philips Funeral director was excellent, compassionate, a brilliant organiser a valuable asset to the Coop Funeral service. He put us at ease, at a very difficult time and organised the whole Funeral for us, everyone said it was a well organised and a lovely send off for my mother. Valerie gave the urology, which was very good, mentioned the whole family, a lovely tribute to my mother, very touching, was very sincere

I cannot recommend Ashington Co-op Funeralcare highly enough.  Kelly expertly looked after us throughout the whole process and made what was a very difficult time for the family, seamless and effortless.  

Our family have used Ashington Funeralcare services quite a few times over the years and I would not go anywhere else.

Excellent thoughtful service from the staff. They did everything beautifuly from start to finish. Consulting with the family the whole time and were there to support the family in anyway they could. Can't thank them enough.
